Oh yeah! He’s mr personality for sure. Have you ever seen that video of him trying to lure some recruit to Bama by dancing in his living room. I almost bust a gut. Someone should tell old GrandPaw it not a good look for a 70 year old guy to try to look cool. 18 year olds look at him like they are staring at a dinosaur that just stepped out of an iceberg. If you haven’t seen it. Look it up. It’s FUNNY

So desperate to be relevant outside September-January. It was funny but now it’s just sad.

Bama is loaded and lots of rat poison. They are the team to beat imo.

They get UT, UTe, and LSU home (nice home schedule)

The A&M game away.

Both UGA and Bame with new QBs.

Baring massive injuries it looks like the only one who can beat Georgia is Georgia. If Kirby can keep them motivated thru the season it should be a cakewalk
Especially since Georgia's schedule is as weak as an ACC or PAC12 schedule. Have y'all ever considered moving over to the ACC? With Texas and Oklahoma coming in its going to be super hard to keep that pussy arse schedule going forward.

Florida and Auburn will be trash yet again. If TN finds a QB, then UGA will have one real game. Otherwise, it’s clear sailing.

Why should Georgia move? We are charter members of the best conference in the land. We are dominating the teams in the conference and outside of it. It’s not Georgias fault if some of you don’t measure up. Our schedule is set by the SEC - not us. We play SEC teams just like all do in this conference. This year we caught a break in that so many teams are perceived as being down. We had planned on playing Oklahoma this season until the SEC said we had to cancel that game. Ball State was kind enough to agree to fill in. It’s not easy to get high profile opponents what with preset schedules. If you have a problem with UGAs schedule talk to the SEC. We didn’t like them taking the Oklahoma game away. Georgia tries to add a high profile team each season. Clemson, Oregon, etc. We were looking forward to playing Oklahoma - our fans like good games - and it’s not our fault that the SEC prevented that.

Whaaa...whaaa...whaaa.... another butthurt LSU fan, angered that we hung 50 on them, trying to take SOME kind of shot at UGA any way he can, when he knows down deep, there really is no shot to take. We had as many injuries as OSU in that game and we outscored them 18-3 in the 4th quarter, so stop acting like that game was that close. And if we would have kept going full throttle on LSU in the 2nd half, we would have hung 70 on them...so, nah, you don't need to bring that game up either.

Well, since Bama is fading away from elitedom, it's gonna get harder and harder to find competition in the SEC that can compete with us now that we have become what we have become. So, heck, we might as well move over to the ACC. Clemson looks like they're getting their legs back under them and FSU is looking better. The SEC isn't providing much of a challenge for us these days.

If you go back and look...and people don't like to admit the truth, Steele is pretty dam accurate.

What makes the bama schedule so difficult?

Hate to say it but college football has jumped the shark. I’ll continue following the hogs and watching the games if I’m home, but my interest in the sport has fallen off a cliff.

Same. I will watch Arkansas play, but knowing that even if they have a great year, no hardware will be won. NIL has changed the competition level and not in a good way for the Hogs. Maybe when the expanded playoffs come, they could sneak in a win or two and make it. Until then, I will watch with no expectations

Definitely goes beyond that. Win or lose I watched any game I could before NIL and portal came around. It's just much less appealing as a general sport now.

Amazing what Kelly has done in 15 months

You ain't wrong. Kelly was good at ND with some pretty serious obstacles in the way. Dude is now at the flagship program in a state with more NFL talent per capita than any state in the nation and adjacent to Mississippi, also rich in NFL talent and Texas rich in NFL caliber skill positions. Couple this with what seems to be a slight step backwards in Tuscaloosa despite Bama still recruiting at the highest level in the nation and LSU is in a great spot. Dammit.

What's the basis for putting Bama at 2?

Seriously? Let's see...

1. They've never missed the playoff in consecutive years.
2. They felt they should have been in last year and have a chip on their shoulder.
3. They have the best coach in college football history
4. They have the most talented roster.

There are other reasons, but I'll stop there. It isn't surprising that they are #2. The only question was whether there was enough justification to put them at #1. The difference between Bama and UGA will come down to 2 things: schedule and whose new QB steps up.

Not saying LSU can't beat Bama for the west, but we are still behind in overall talent and depth, and that game is in Tuscaloosa.

Getting rid of those 2 coordinators is a bump in the right direction. Not like they don't have 60+ top recruits on their team.

Bama is way too high. LSU is better than Bama.
