I'm assuming that is a berm in left field. I love that. I wish LSU would have done that.

Yes I believe it will be on both sides, from the end of the seats to the foul pole.

Dumb question, but what is a berm?

The grassy area that is built up so you can throw a blanket down and hang out and still have a good view of the game.

Looks like Stricklin took inspiration from The New Dude.

I am sure of it. He would be crazy not to. I would love it if the experience is half as good as State's atmosphere.

I wish Georgia would toss some money towards some real improvements to Foley Field

Stadium is going to be so sick.

After the decade they had, I'm surprised that they didn't move on this a few years prior, especially considering their old/current stadium, while classic, seemed to be pretty small for the No. 1 team. That said, though, I'm admittedly not in the know regarding UF construction projects ha

If you build it, they will come.

Florida has always been strangely behind on facilities it seems. I think it's mainly because they have so much talent they just rely on that instead of investing like most programs do to attract recruits.

Florida s basketball arena is weird and subpar, their baseball field has always been weird snd subpar and I believe their football facilities were lacking until Urban came.

FSU and Miami also seem to have this problem as well. Must be a Florida thing.

Yeah we have a logistics problem in that the football field, basketball arena, baseball field, track, soccer, tennis, almost all our sports stadiums/arenas are right next to each other. It was a cool concept way back in the day, but as time goes by, and facilities got bigger, there was no room.

If this works you can see how everything is together. So we have had to start building on some of the AG property to the SW on the other side of Lake Alice.

Is that a new park or is it being renovated? If renovated, where are you playing your games this season?

Why? What is the attraction of a berm? You get to sit on grass and hope to squeeze out a piece of sod for you and your companion(s).

Give me a chairback seat any day.
