First it was LSU, then Alabama - is Georgia next to break offensive records in 2021?

They will be in year 2 with a very good offensive coordinator. They return a QB who showed tons of promise. They return every important skill player. They have talent on the offensive line.
Is it possible that a 3rd SEC team in a row has a record breaking offensive season en route to a title?

Recent trends suggest yes

I couldn’t even tell you who their OC is.
Are we sure they’ll beat Florida?

Todd Monken, who is a very good coordinator

Were we sure in January 2019 that you would beat Alabama in November 2019?

I think Daniels has potential and showed flashes last year but I think we also might be putting too much stock in his 2-3 good games.
Certainly could happen though. They have the talent in place.

Basically every offensive passing record has fallen every year since like 2015. I dont see how that trend does not continue

Possibly. After 2019 LSU, nothing would shock me.

Ole Miss showed this year you can break all sorts of records on offense and still end up 5-5

Pretty sure Georgia's personnel on defense is a little bit better than Ole Miss'.

If JTD can start throwing like Mac Jones, we will be hard to beat. Stating the obvious

Ole miss turn to do it next year

I guess it doesn’t matter if they beat Florida or not as they could lose and still break records.
I don’t think Smart has it in him to allow for the type of wide open offense it would require to break records. He’s very much a control the tempo with the running game kind of coach.
But then again, so was Orgeron and Saban

I'm not sold on Monken just yet
They had personnel issues last year especially at QB but are his schemes going to do what Joe Brady and Sark were able to do.
Until I see it, I won't believe it.
I'm still not convinced Smart will change things but if he wants to emulate Saban in any capacity he better start to keep up.

They don't have the WRs that Bama and LSU did. Put Jefferson/Chase/TMJ or Smith/Waddle on their team, and they could do it.

He changed a lot offensively from 2019 to 2020.
