Losing on a last second field goal is getting "stomped"?

People are calling this maybe the greatest cfb team ever. PSHH you ain't seen nothin yet. In the near future you'll see some college teams that are better than bottom-tier NFL teams. How? Well with $$$$$$. You could theoretically field a team where every starter is a 1st or 2nd round draft pick. You're already seeing it take shape.

Bro, what? You are saying the opposite of what is happening. There are no elite teams. This is as mediocre as I've seen CFB...maybe ever.

Why does Alabama suck now?

Is it because the playing field is leveled or does Kaden suck?

Ohio State spent most of ther NIL money on player retention with top notch players (11) who will go all go in rounds 1-3 with maybe half of that in round 1 of the draft. All of them cound have made more money in the pro's but they wanted to come back and beat Michigan, win the B!G and the national champioship. The most important one is very much in play. This is called team culture. Caleb Downs, Seth McGlaughlin, Quinshon Judkins, Will Howard were awesome additions but they were not the crux of NIL

Let's be honest. Texas choked. Giving up that score before the half was ridiculous.

They played the alleged GOAT dead even and without that brain dead play call that game goes to OT most likely.

Alabama complaining about teams going out and buying players is absolutely amazing

So let me get this straight.

Bama was the only one able to afford buying all the players before? And now they're too broke to buy all the players now?

LSU, alone, has about 30 players in the 2025 NFL Playoffs. Your point missed the target.

OSU didnt really buy a team, all they did was pay their seniors to come back instead of going pro, which is what Michigan also did last year. They had 3 starters who were transfers yesterday (Howard and Downs and their TE)

Oregon is the better example of a mercenary squad

The model to winning in this era is to recruit elite talent, and keep the starting core together. Teams with starters who have 2-3 years of experience playing together are going to be the ones hoisting the trophy, not the teams who have to rebuild the culture and team cohesiveness every year

100%

Ohio State only had 7 transfers in last offseason total.

It's weird how certain talking points start and then become regarded as fact.

The regular season didn't matter. It's now a watered down cesspool like Louisiana high school football everyone wins a trophy league now.

Excuses. They bought a 20 million team. There is no making excuses about it. This isn't college football anymore
