I wonder who thought up the name Big 12 and how much they lacked foresight. They had the Pac 12 as a road map which previously went by the names Big Five, Big Six, Pacific-8, and Pacific-10.

I have proposed the SEC change to the Super 16. It makes perfect sense.

I remember tha SWC had some good teams. I think they cheated almost as well as us SEC teams...just too much oil money

I take pride in knowing the B1G only took schools from other power conferences. The Big 12 is a glorified G5 league.

The PAC was never a power conference. The last national championship from that conference was 20 years ago (2004).
