Wanting to pick and choose what rules we punish members for as well as threatening to punish members for not breaking rules is "power hungry". We are learning now this was pushed by Tenn President. LSU has put itself in a situation where at least a significant number of the other members do not trust them. There wouldn't be a type of public conflict if there was goodwill and a belief that all parties are trustworthy. Instead whatever arguments there are would be ironed out behind the scenes.

I wish LSU well and hope the entire conference can climb off the ledge. This looks to be another exciting season and it's a shame this legal wrangling has taken focus over play on the field, especially when LSU looks a real contender.
