It is when you agree to be under the NCAA umbrella.

Look at the Chambliss situation. He was ruled ineligible 3 times by the NCAA only to have local judge issue a TRO and the SEC allowed him to play. 2 separate organizations operating under 2 different sets of rules.

In LSU's case, the NCAA said these players were eligible and the SEC is losing it's shite trying to stop it.

It's the selective governing that's absurd. It took Kiffin to get these dumb fricks to write a new, clear rule.

The mental gymnastics y’all are going through to claim victory when you didn’t get what you want is hilarious

I never cared about these players. I just want to spot the ball.

Now what I want is the SEC to admit we didn't break any rules and to not give us any penalties. I'd also like them to admit their hypocrisy on this whole thing with Bediako.

I'll settle for just no penalties because I doubt I'll get the other two

This whole thing was crazy and other fanbases need to realize this isn't good for their university either. This is a bad precedent for the league. The ability to just kick someone out for hurt feelings is wild.

Problem is the "conspiring" part is completely unproven. They could easily just allege that against Ole Miss for Chambliss or Bama for Bediako or Vanderbilt for Pavia. They didn't and don't seem to want to, but it's a precedent of being able to kick a school out for unproven allegations that were largely fueled by the media and twitter. They put Kiffin's halftime joke on a fricking lawsuit as "proof" of LOIC. That's absurd

I still contend if Vanderbilt did everything LSU did, no one would be talking about this. It's because it's LSU and Kiffin.

Again what rule was broken?

Conduct detrimental to the conference. Sankey looked like such a bumbling lazy idiot on the stand that it made the entire conference look incompetent and weak. Now the UTk pres is big mad and slinging mustard on everyone she can find.

Lane is a narcissist …..

Too immature to make important decisions

LSU needs to protect him from himself …

Yet he made the decision, from the very start, to comply with SEC rules.

no. More like we know we have a 2019 season brewing and don't want to mess with the fight and Kiffin having to go to court over something that won't change the outcome of the season.

Could it be they are threatening LSU with expulsion to make sanctions more agreeable?

I don’t know what those would look like but if they included the firing of Kiffin or Verge, I don’t believe LSU would go for it.

he SEC wants federal courts to give them the authority to kick schools if they want. Once they get that, they can effectively become their own enforcement organization without the NCAA

EXACTLY!!! They were pissed b/c that Louisiana judge said they couldn't penalize the school or the coaches if they put them on the roster! That was the straw... That and Sankey looked like a little b!tch on the stand... but mainly b/c of the judge ruling.

Once they get the "power" to do what they want they will be happy! The funny thing is.... will they hold every school to an equal standard? I think not.
