But, if they cultivated ignorant redneckism, most of this board would love it.

I don't want to hear politics on a sports station either. But, methinks most of the objections here are because of WHICH politics they support.

Can we get a rundown on the demographics of the current ESPN roster, and compare that to who's been cut?
Nearly all I've seen are white males, but I'd imagine that makes up an already high percentage.

Check the history of the ABC/Disney ideology and it'll become pretty clear that it's the network's idea to impose its political views, not just their employees.

Russilo and Kannell was the one radio show I would listen to. Good chemistry together and avoided politics.

Adnan is sitting in today, by himself. When they go to break, he is saying "ESPN Radio".......not Kanell & Russillo. I like Russillo. He has the only ESPN radio show I will listen in on. frick Kanell though.

Not so sure about that at least in regards to meself- like social media such as Facebook etc. I get equally annoyed with people on my side as I do with others. Basically, it's a stfu here, we don't come here for that mentality of mine. I'll go to a poliboard on here or elsewhere if I want to talk politics.

I really liked SVP and Russilo, but Kannell never won me over. He acted like a prototypical dumb jock too often.

Nope.

Sports is an escape. I don't want political talk in it no matter the slant.

I'm really gonna miss Mike Golic. He makes my morning commute manageable. Mike and Mike are a great duo but individually both need support.

ESPN is struggling, they paid way too much for the rights to broadcast, then a lot of folks are stopping cable (cutting the cord). So expenses going up and revenue going down.

I thought Golic just signed a new contract and was gonna host a new show with his son?

No. He's Just retarded. This same guy just this morning posted that State would beat Auburn and that their defense would jump over 80 spots in one year.

Conservatives are incredibly thin skinned.

Honestly, I had no idea that ESPN was "pushing a political agenda " before today.

Of course, I don't watch unless it's live sports but where was this happening and why was it so bothersome?
