Why penalize the LSU fans with losing a home game November 19 and costing LSU $2 million in lost revenue because the Florida AD is gaming the system?

If neither team wins their respective division the game can be rescheduled for December 3.

Sankey may not be thrilled with a regular season game being played on SEC title game weekend but he can live.

Sources do give out incorrect information and all should confirm all facts before taking off and running with hear say. Florida is lying to save face for pulling out of the game.

Why in the World would LSU conceded the World when the school affected by the anomaly is willing to give up nothing.

Come to BR on 11/19 and in 2017 and then maybe we can talk about 11/19.

...that would be dumb in that situation for UF and LSU.

Can we change the title of this thread now that we know that it was a "flatout lie"?

yeah if the divisions aren't in dispute and neither LSU nor UF are in the race, we'll just not play the game and UF gets the insurance $

Why?

If one team makes the CCG the game can even be rescheduled for Army Navy weekend.

Do LSU fans view the whole season as meaningless if they don't win the West Division? That's the impression I'm getting here.

Either you want to play the game or not. If you want to play the game, then agree to the date and go.

Let's be real for a moment. LSU wanted to play this game this weekend in B.R. or a neutral site cause UF is a top 25 team and pretty banged up right now.

LSU wants no business playing UF in November with the rest of that Nov. schedule.

Just kinda getting tired of LSU fans and the media playing the victim card. Bunch of bitches.

So why did LSU offer to fly to Gainesville Sunday or Monday?

Of course he did, he doesn't want to look like an even bigger pussy to a fanbase that already hates him.

This cluster frick is just as much LSU's fault as it is Matthew's.

totally false

LSU doesn't want to hurt the state it serves and the university by canceling a home game. They also don't want to go into College Station on 5 days prep.

Uf did the right thing for them, and now LSU is doing the right thing for them. It is on the SEC to find a shooting solution.

So what your telling me is that if UF or LSU win the SEC title and get picked to play in the playoffs we should play a regular season game after that????? You make no sense baw you have to be on some shite.

Truthfully Florida would be giving up a home game on the 19th as well. They would have to cancel their OOC game on that date. This would not be rescheduled. It's not as if this scenario has no net negative effect on Florida.

Their best scenario was playing the game in Gainesville on Sat, Sun, or Mon. With the potential area damage in Florida and emergency crews loaded up... not sure it would be sensible to have scheduled the game for Sunday or even Monday.

So LSU wanted to play the game on its original schedule?

LSU doesn't want to give up a home game and play 3 SEC games on the road in 13 days? Noooooo waaaay

As surprising as it is the media is holding Florida as the victim.

Nice try though

Why should LSU lose over $5M because UF is incompetent? Further UF never contacted LSU about 11/19.

The SEC is terrible
