They aren't. JA said in his press conference that he threw everything but the kitchen sink as far as opportunities to play this game, and fla flat out said no to everything/

Not saying LSU should be penalized at all. Our first year in the SEC we had a weather cancellation for La Tech. We ended up making up that game and played something like 9 straight weeks. It sucks for a number of reasons but we played it instead of cancelling. We were on the road a lot. The primary difference is that we didn't have a shortened week for our next game which you guys do.
Do you realize your proposal of LSU playing UF on 11/19 causes the cancellation of two other games?
You seem to be under the impression that is a bye week.

Lose a home game and pay a $1.5M buyout
well there is supposedly insurance for this
BUT
i can't see how a decision has been made on whether that scenario would even be covered by the insurance. it's probably way too early to make assertive comments one way or another b/c i doubt the insurance could even advise the SEC if there would be coverage for THAT
obviously UF would be covered for losing this home game, BUT AGAIN, if another home game is in play?

Yeah, why shouldn't we believe anything that comes out of Gainesville, right?

Insurance doesn't cover the local business revenue

No it isnt. He's our AD and went on air with that strong of a statement. It's pretty believable because if he was lying he would have a lot to answer for.
Much more believable than a journalist quoting "sources".
I get you are trolling but it's a pretty weak attempt.

Maybe so, but one put his credibility on the line. The source did not by remaining anonymous.

Insurance for LSU volunteering to cancel a scheduled game? I don't think so, but I guess it's possible.

Has Foley ever said that it was? Plus Foley has already made other statements that were proven to be lies. So I will believe Joe before Foley at this point.

Exactly!
Neither wants to lose a home game and the revenue that comes with it.
As far as Joe telling the truth. Well, he did say last year that he backed Les Miles going forward.
4 games later.....

LSU's AD has come out and said no contact was made to try to reschedule game. Florida's AD hasn't made a comment on it. A writer going off bullshite says that LSU refused to reschedule and you believe the writer that didn't even name his source. Ignorance at its finest.

Of course they do. They are banged up now.
Why should LSU lose a home game to accommodate UF?
Weather and situation will be fine in Gainesville this weekend. Why not play this Sunday?

From ESPN article this morning
"The 18th-ranked Gators (4-1, 2-1 SEC) want to play the game Nov. 19 in Gainesville and offered that scenario during conversations on Wednesday and Thursday. But sources told ESPN and The Associated Press that LSU turned down that offer."
Either you want to play the game or not. If you want to play the game, then agree to the date and go.
LSU has a game scheduled. We have an open date the 29th. Why should we have to accommodate them? Move your precious Cocktail Party to the 19th and schedule us in then.

We get it, your main argument is about a different subject from a different year.

backed him, but also looking lol
neither want to lose a home game which is fair. So SEC figures it out or moves SEC Champ game back
