Reiner and his first wife used to do little info vignettes offering parenting tips. It was true to form late 60s thought-you are special-you matter- that sort of stuff.
He thought that he could treat a child with such severe issues that way.
He tried to love his kid to mental health. Unfortunately for him, his wife and his family he was wrong.
This country needs to back to institutionalizing people. Humanely.

Ole Miss has embraced victimhood so completely that even the DNC has taken notice and latched on.
I hear that Lia Thomas is looking for a gig. Maybe they can find a spot for him/her.

When the vote is taken on cloture-ending the filibuster-you know how people are voting.
Just imagine the damage Democrats can do with no filibuster. They’ll only need 50+1 to give statehood to DC and Puerto Rico, and pack SCOTUS.
That’s too high a price to pay.
The shutdown will end-they always do. The GOP is winning on this.

Even if they hold onto NJ and win in VA, it’s not going to be big numbers, and a midterm Blue Wave looks unlikely. There’s no widespread outrage about this shutdown.

Say hello to the 6 new SCOTUS justices-Warren, AOC, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Eric Swalwell, and Merrick Garland.

ETA the shutdown is not hurting the GOP. The Dems are counting on the GOP panicking once SNAP ends. Dem Base-public service union is already whining about Dem inaction.
The GOP needs to hold fast.

Everybody needs to go back and read the Federalist Papers. The Senate is supposed to be slow. It keeps maniacs like Sanders and Schumer from ramming things down our throats.
