Haynes had such incredible tools,

So has he 100% recovered from last year's injury?

He has. And he’s bulked up, so hopefully that will help him stay healthy. He has elite speed and a really good arm. We just really don’t have enough data to know whether he can see the field and process a play at game speed.

He’s a really great dude, and I want him to win the job. He’s already won it once, but this QB room is quite a bit better than last year’s.

It’ll be interesting to see who Bama sends out in mop up duty this year. Milroe has all the potential in the world and has been in Tuscaloosa for a year, but he’s extremely raw. Simpson was supposedly more polished coming out of high school and had a good spring

Milroe will probably be 2nd team this year but Simpson will be starter next year

I’m certain we will have some kind of QB committee bullshite.

Everyone gets a quarter probably. Sigh.

I think you guys get Max this year for sure, King probably transfers at some point, and Weigman likely starts in 2023 unless Max comes back, then you'll have a battle.

King to LSU?

Just a heads up Sidewalk, from a day one of practice write up: “it appeared that Haynes King was working with the 1s, Max Johnson with the 2s and Conner Weigman with the 3s. Make of that what you will.”

Will Rodgers is only a Junior? Seems like he’s been there forever.

If he sticks around, he could make a run at the SEC all time passing leader. Currently held by Aaron Murray at 13,166 yards.

Will has 6,715 yards, with 4,739 of those coming last year.

I feel Milroe settled who the backup is in the spring game.

And Max was working with the 1’s today. They are going to rotate them out this early in camp.

Max was running with the 1’s today. Reported from a guy that was literally there.

Auburn must be in really bad shape if they're starting Calzona

I’m watching the highlights now, noticed that, here is the one thing that drives me crazy about Max, his release takes so long…with that said, at 6’4’’ 220, he’s the biggest guy we got, saw King only gained 5 lbs over a year

Allegedly one reason for the transfer is because Hogan got all the first team reps while Levi's was at SEC media days.

At any rate this is the first time in the last decade I've felt great about our starting QB going into a season.

Makes sense, if Hogan had gotten in front of him in the depth chart it significant reduces the chances he’ll ever become a starter.

And agreed.

He does have a slow release but your offensive line should be good. He can scramble if he needs to and can throw the ball with touch. Is relatively accurate but has a weak arm and can't make all of the throws to really stretch the field.
