I am pulling for the Myles kid at LSU. He has had such bad luck with injuries but stuck with the school and is competing for the job rather than running off somewhere else. I know the transfer guy from out west is in the running and probably a hotshot freshman too, but I really hope Myles takes the reins and has a great year.

Hornsby is our backup QB, even though he’s getting WR reps also.

Will Rodgers is only a Junior? Seems like he’s been there forever.

It’ll be interesting to see who Bama sends out in mop up duty this year. Milroe has all the potential in the world and has been in Tuscaloosa for a year, but he’s extremely raw. Simpson was supposedly more polished coming out of high school and had a good spring

Think you see Calzada at Auburn, Brennan at LSU, Dart at Ole Miss, have no idea about Mizzou, and Johnson at A&M.

I have the suspicion that Hogan is performing pretty well behind Levis and that’s why Beau Allen transferred.

Dart has apparently looked really good this summer but Altmyer has gotten a fire lit up under his arse and improved dramatically. I think he ends up our starter

I enjoy that the list is in alphabetical order but with nicknames used that make it not in alphabetical order

The A&M battle will be a true battle. Max’s experience gives him a big edge, but Haynes had such incredible tools, and Weigman is going to be a star when he’s ready.

I think Max’s 60% completion rate and 27/6 TD to int rate MIGHT win the day, but it’s going to be a battle.

Allegedly one reason for the transfer is because Hogan got all the first team reps while Levi's was at SEC media days.

At any rate this is the first time in the last decade I've felt great about our starting QB going into a season.

Plus Max is a better fit for Jimbo's system and seems to take better care of the ball from what we've seen so far.

I think you guys get Max this year for sure, King probably transfers at some point, and Weigman likely starts in 2023 unless Max comes back, then you'll have a battle.
