We have those trophies stored somewhere because we win every year. I don’t see us losing to Arky for awhile, probably Ole Miss either. So, those trophies will be collecting dust.

I thought the Boot was a bad trophy until I saw the Magnolia Bowl trophy Ole Miss came up with for our "rivalry." It looks like a special ed students project completed with the help of the night staff at the Tupelo Walmart.

I do like that whoever holds the trophy only polishes their own state. If you look at that POS right now Arkansas is dark, ugly, and tarnished but Louisiana looks like a shiny new penny. frick Arkansas.

It’s about on the same level of prestige as the magnolia bowl trophy. Both trophies were left on the field this year

LSU just left the thing sitting out on the field after the last game.

Doesn't matter. That pack of cockadoodledo roosters will never get to hold it. I know. It's gotta suck having to call the Aggies DADDY.

That ugly-arse trophy still exists. LSU and Arky both think it's a monstrosity. When it's time for it to leave one team for the other, the university that ships it out has, as a rule, worked very hard on the crate that the trophy is shipped in to ensure that the crate is better looking than the trophy itself. Pretty neat way that both schools play that one.

I think stipulations should be changed that the loser of the LSU-Arkansas game has to take the trophy.

LSU dismantled Arkansas 56-20 (Razorbacks scored 14 in 4th quarter when game was already determined) on the field yesterday.

After the game, the beating continued. The game was supposedly the rivalry game for The Golden Boot. After the game, LSU didn’t celebrate and left the trophy on the field.
Love It!

I’ll agree with everyone else that winning the trophy is pretty insignificant. Unlike the others, I actually think the trophy itself is kinda cool. The magnolia on the other hand means nothing and is ugly as hell.

I have 3 assertions in my post. Which of the three are wrong?

It still exists but no, it’s not traded back and forth. Cause Arkansas can’t win.

Wow their fans were acting like fricking fools outside of the stadium. It was so, so embarrassing

They broke like a 16 game SEC losing streak in that game. The streak was embarrassing, celebrating the end of it wasn't.

Because we don't have a natural rival like the other schools in the SEC.

A&M is quickly becoming a good one. Louisiana and Texas as states in general seem to butt heads

The Boot looks better than most rivalry trophies. It's just too frickin big. 175 lbs - 4 ft tall - 24 carat gold (according to wikipedia).
