An impressive win over Arkansas this weekend will put you right back into the playoff mix

Really

that slow start will be completely forgotten

I think you should ask does a 6-6 Tamu team get in?

I say yes - in the past, early season losses have seemed to count less than late season losses. We'd have wins over Alabama and Texas. Seems like a surefire playoff berth.

The only reason I don't dismiss this out of hand is that Notre Dame lost to a bad Northern Illinois team and then made an epic run making the title game and finishing #2 in the country.

But we are not that Notre Dame team. We are nervous about Arkansas, which just about sums it all up. If we have a winning record I will be surprised.

I hope a 9-3 LSU makes the playoffs before a 10-2 A&M.

That would be pretty funny, I have to admit.

Yes.

But they won't be 10-2.

Your team sucks.

The real question should be: Does a 7-5 Aggy make the playoffs.

Sure, why not. You were just "a few plays away" from upsetting LSU last week so anything's possible... right?

Sure with 10-2 in the SEC it's almost certain.

But you ain't winning Bama or Texas.
And I think Tenn even has an advantage atm.

It’s possible, but unlikely.

If you beat Alabama, texas and Tennessee chances are LSU beats at least 2 if not all 3.

Georgia looks the favorite to win the SEC
Ole Miss has 1 loss to Florida and a win over LSU who spanked you.

You will need all but 3 teams to have the following

You would need the following to have 2 losses
Texas, Alabama Missouri Georgia, Florida

You would need LSU and UK to have 3 losses

You may need every team that beats LSU and UK to lose 3 as well since they beat the team that beat you. (Ole Miss) I’m not putting Bama here because you win the head to head
