we remodeled and went from a 58 to a 65 after the mantle got lifted a bit and I left the mount in place. I watch maybe 5-8 hours of TV a week so it was pretty inconsequential.
I am not in construction, but I built a birdhouse once.

Rockin' Robin Guitars was great with my son's Telecaster. Lot of history. Not great parking but you can find a place.
Rocking Robin was able to repair it and despite a noticeable scratch on the back of the headstock and I still play it to this day. Plays so well I had to have it re-fretted last year. :lol:

SF is one of my favorite cities and three is so much to do there I wont even try to name the all as many were mentioned above. It is a wonderful city that has issues like all cities but I never had anything other than a great time when I am there. I usually stay in the Russian Hill/ Embarcadero area but there are many neighborhoods to enjoy.

I turned 18 in 1978. Fresh out of high school, I could drink alcohol. I had been driving since I was 15, legally. I landed a job making $8.25 an hour which was huge back then. I had a one bedroom 800 square foot apartment that was $225 a month. I bought a brand new 1978 Jeep CJ5 golden eagle edition. Payment was $117 a month and insurance was like $43 a month. Gas was $0.55 a gallon. A large pizza and a picture of beer with salad bar at Pizza Hut was less than 10 dollars. Pack of cigarettes was 35 cents. Southern rock was my music of choice but if you wanted to hook up you had to go to the discos. No fake titties, no tattoos, full bush. Landing strips were starting to become popular. What a time to be alive. I miss it everyday.

It’s 2 hours to Rocky Springs and 6,5 hours to Hot Springs from Baton Rouge. At Rocky Spring you can be roasting marshmallows before your half way to Arkansas. You really need more than a weekend to camp in Arkansas to enjoy it enough,
This may fit the bill once it gets colder if you want a quick tent camping weekend. We did it for many years with a big group when the kids were young around Easter and Thanksgiving, Hiking, streams, canopy of big trees and history. Port Gipson is cool too.

Due to the heat, it was :more of a “hole in the sand” they slept in for 3 nights. Kid has been spoiled with creature comforts their whole life so this was a well needed dose of humility from Bravo company.

Didn’t serve, but I am in Columbia now and my kid got their Soldier patch yesterday after doing the Forge in the hottest temps every recorded at Fort Jackson, We are soon leaving to attend our youngest kids graduation today before AIT school at Fort Sam.

Seems very doable if you are the type to move daily like that and you will maximize your time to view the state. Sleep when you get home is one of our mottos on these type trips!
