I’m curious if y’all actually researched our roster or do y’all just regurgitate bullshite you read on the rant. Our defensive line is our most star studded and deep position group. Our offensive line has a lot to prove but it’s also a group with a lot of size and potential. LSU dominated the west with probably the least impressive offensive line we faced all season in 2019.

Don't get me wrong, I hope we thrash them on the field (granted we have our own big issues right now). That being said, I hope he has a great career. Seems like a very good coach who let his demons get the best of him for awhile. Hopefully that is all behind him.

Disagree. It will take the sips years to develop the roster depth it takes to go battle every week in the SEC.

All facilities are new, equal distribution of revenue, so recruits will just have to choose based on coaches.

Texas hasn’t and won’t do well with a level playing field. Not to mention the undeniable trend of liberal university’s football programs dropping off all over the country.

Yet LSU gave up fewer sacks and averaged more yards per carry than Texas in that game.

That said, 2019 LSU wasn't good because of their offensive line.

The near future, we should dominate, but long term will probably depend on who has the better coach. I like what we have in place at the moment, but it will get interesting when Jimbo is no longer around.

Where are these better facilities and have you seen their campus? They upgraded that dump of a stadium to fit more does that make it better? Also the plumbing never works and they have stairs and to no where. Their basketball arena is definitely not as nice as the new one Texas will be in next year. They might have better horse stalls so I’ll give them that.

Agree with this, A&M has a 10 year head start but I think the gap starts to narrow the longer UT is in the SEC.

Clearly you have not

Aggie Football facilities are light years past you and Aggie campus now makes horns look like an abandoned 1970's city in russia

Congrats for you visiting Aggie campus in 1985 i guess?

There s=is a ton of new shite in Colege Station, every time I'm there the place looks different. Can't get over the fact that there's not a tree in sight though.

it really is insane, the construction in the last 15 years is nuts

Austin campus is a total shite hole if we're being honest and their football facilities are crap.

Because Texas has sucked the last 10 years or so, some of the top 25 recruits in the state of Texas have started to go elsewhere..

2021 Texas 1 A&M 6 Other 18 - Sark hired
2020 Texas 7 A&M 4 Other 14
2019 Texas 4 A&M 8 Other 13
2018 Texas 12 A&M 5 Other 8 - Fisher hired
quote:

4 YR AVG Texas 6 A&M 6 Other 13

2017 Texas 2 A&M 1 Other 22 - Herman hired
2016 Texas 8 A&M 3 Other 14
2015 Texas 7 A&M 6 Other 12
2014 Texas 6 A&M 6 Other 13 - Strong hired
quote:

4 YR AVG Texas 6 A&M 4 Other 15

2013 Texas 6 A&M 7 Other 12
2012 Texas 10 A&M 4 Other 11 - Sumlin hired / SEC
2011 Texas 11 A&M 0 Other 14
2010 Texas 14 A&M 3 Other 8 - TX just lost NC
quote:

4 YR AVG Texas 10 A&M 4 Other 11

2009 Texas 12 A&M 1 Other 13
2008 Texas 9 A&M 4 Other 12
2007 Texas 14 A&M 2 Other 9
2006 Texas 11 A&M 3 Other 11 - TX just won NC
quote:

4 YR AVG Texas 12 A&M 3 Other 10

2005 Texas 5 A&M 7 Other 12 - TX just lost 5th str8 to OU
2004 Texas 8 A&M 4 Other 13
2003 Texas 10 A&M 3 Other 12
2002 Texas 12 A&M 3 Other 10
quote:

4 YR AVG Texas 9 A&M 5 Other 11

Mack averaged about 10 of these players..
Strong/Herman averaged about 6

Sumlin averaged about 4 of these players..
Fisher has averaged about 6

TBD if Texas and A&M are ever good at the same time.. or how big of a role that the SEC plays in these numbers..

If Texas has a good year (9+ wins) and has signed an agreement to join the SEC, we should see a big bump in 2022.. unless A&M wins the SEC in 2021?

TLDR: Texas Recruiting > A&M but this is a big year and could swing momentum either way..

only by taking all of the grade risks and kids with problems

Mack wouldn't have touched half the kids Herman and Strong signed to boost their stats. and most of those kids didn't play or stay more than a year.

it really is the root of your on field performance issues

Lol. Keep focusing solely on Texas. There's definitely not a whole country of talent out there to be tapped into. And Jimbo definitely doesn't bother recruiting out of state so Sark shouldn't either.
