I will add that I have been poking and prodding you bit, but you seem like a good dude. At least you are answering questions and not just slinging shite everywhere like most people on this board.

Agreed. It's nice to actually talk some football for a change.

Iowa St would have waxed you last year. You beat two teams with a winning record why are you acting like some kind of power house? Lol. Oh and pulled away late in a bowl from a UNC team without its top 6 players on offense…. Atm record vs power 5 is right at .500 since joining the SEC but they act like they are actually good like always.

Raiding Alabama's staff doesn't make you Alabama.

Agreed, but we do have a lot of nice pieces on both sides of the ball. Texas lost 3 games by a combined 13 points last year. Good coaching could have won all 3 games..

Offense
Sam is a big loss, but he was a better fit for Herman’s offense. Casey and Card are both talented throwers and I expect Sark to call a good game. Bijan is a stud. TBD on WR, but we have some guys that could show big.

FR Xavier Worthy should play a lot..
RFR Trey Omiere blew up in camp last year, but got hurt.

Those 2 guys have the most potential but they are young and without experience.. so who knows. A freshman can step into the WR role easier than others. Press coverage will be the concern, but Sark will use motion to get his guys in space.

So that leaves the OL. Kyle Flood OL Coach was great at Bama and has been with Sark for 4 straight years now. We have some highly rated lineman on campus, but not the beasts that Bama plays with. The Brock brothers were a big loss.

Texas averaged 42 points a game last year. That is a little inflated due to two overtime games.. but still pretty good and I think Sark OC is better than Herman OC.

Prediction: 40 points / game

Me: The sky is blue.

Your response: But half or A&M’s class comes from out of state.

Me: That may be true, but I was only saying the sky is blue.

Your response: Your missing the big picture.

I'll go ahead and remind you of the point you made that spurred my initial response:

TLDR: Texas Recruiting > A&M but this is a big year and could swing momentum either way..

You can't make the argument that UT is recruiting better than A&M if you're only going to look at in-state targets. A&M recruiting has opened up to many other parts of the country 8n a big way. To the tune of about 1/2 our signing classes not being Texas kids. Therefore, you are missing the big picture, and your conclusion is erroneous because of it.

When you look at players committed, pay attention to their offer list. That is more telling then biased nerds assigning stars for money. Not to say that you haven’t recruited well. Just not as well as you think.
