A. Not an SEC game. So, yes nobody cares.
B. Oregon is perennially overrated and always underachieves or shits the bed and only gets the exposure that they do because of Nike and Phil Knight.
C. We do watch. Just not when our games are on.

Honestly everything outside the SEC really is background noise to most SEC fans. Most years that is justified. Once in a while a surprise comes from somewhere like the boring Big 10.

Its not just sports, everything really interesting is happening roughly in the SEC footprint. Go watch some videos on the "Boom Belt". Trump is trying hard to help the Midwest get back on their feet but their Dem governors are fighting him tooth and nail. Meanwhile NY, CA, OR, MD, WA and others are committing new forms of self destruction every day.

What are you doing here? Why do you care about SEC fans not caring about you and your teams?

Why would you ask random fans if a place they are not located at has a game on? I’d prob give you a blank stare as well thinking how the frick I’d know that lol. Kind of a weird question no?

There's a reason why you're a B1G fan posting on an SEC message board.

There's a reason why you're a B1G fan and decided to go to an SEC game you had no affiliation with.

There's a reason why you don't see any of us at y'all's games or on y'all's boards.

Is this the worst thread ever?
Definitely up there.

He should have gone to Chili's or another "fine dining" establishment in Indiana if he wanted to watch this game.

The bar should have multiple games on at once. Why the frick is your broke arse at a bar with one TV on a Saturday.....seems like you just wanted attention and needed to bitch because you are bored.

Why should we care about IU football when their own fans didn't even care until last year?

I have zero interest in keeping up with other college games.

I do think that this attitude is more prevalent in the SEC relative to other parts of the country. But there are plenty of fans in other parts of the country who are the same way.

They only really pay attention to their team and their conference.

That being said, every week I check the schedule to see what the top games are across the country. And I may not watch them (will usually watch the SEC games now that OU is SEC) but I will pay attention to the score of these games and will switch to a different game during a commercial if said game is close.

I seldom watch anything outside the SEC, but that matchup was on my radar.

Are you talking about bubble gum or something? Do we like bubble gum in the South? Is that the question?

My guess as well, probably thinks that is what mayonnaise tastes like. Same as kids thinking Starbucks is good coffee and never had Cafe du Monde.

Yawn, still Yankee football. They spend their heart out a year or two until their booster yell no more and it all reverts back south
