Following the threads on here is impossible with Hulu. I can use it to look like a prophet though.

They should be required to show the public the details of these transaction between companies. Especially if you are paying for their services. AT&T needs to show their customers why they are losing ESPN.

The providers just need to have a non-negotiation mentality when it comes to these the companies or they are just going to keep doing it over and over. It's like blackmail.

Woo my parents just moved and dropped AT&T and got Spectrum - my dad's credentials work and the free ESPN/Fox Sports/NBC Sports (I like Premier League) is wonderful.

If they do... I drop them easy enough...

Disney sets the rate for what they charge AT&T/DirectTV to carry their product. Sure you could put some of the blame on AT&T for putting shareholders over customers (hello, capitalism) as they would raise rates instead of absorbing the costs if they agree to Disney’s demands. However, this all starts with Disney demanding more money.

Dropped dish after ten years...went to ps vue and only lost comedy central, history (which is the worst loss) and local nbc...cut my bill in half and really only about a 60 second delay because of the stream

Cable companies pull this crap too....First of the year I lost 4-5 channels on my cable that I watch because of a money dispute...Those channels were off several days until they reached a agreement.

I've been tempted to switch to Sling and I think that's going to happen tomorrow.

The only reason I have Uverse is it is easy for me to watch live sports. Guess I will be dropping soon

quote:I think one of the biggest issues is that AT&T isn't wanting to pay the fees for both services. So they dropped NFL Network from UVerse because they only wanted to pay for it on DirecTV (and if they dropped it from DirecTV they would lose Sunday Ticket).
It seems to be much more frequent now that AT&T owns DirecTV
That, and I think AT&T will eventually phase out UVerse IPTV and make everyone move to DirecTV.

They both are. They don’t realize they will be their own demise.

Weird how it's always AT&T/DirecTV in these contractual pissing matches.
Glad I dropped them.
Dude. DishNetwork is always in them, too.
