Yeah, it caused them so much emotional harm they blacked out and still signed an LOI to play football there

The police fricked this one up, IMO.
They should have shot him in the head.

I don't know. I know he'll never run from the cops again

You're going to sit there and suggest with a straight face that 70% of the Alabama and Auburn fan bases might stop buying tickets or watching games?
Are you out of your goddamned mind?

What did the statue do to them?

stardom of a rapist. The police were called to protect a woman he assaulted...
THIS is what they are defending

Let's see them forfeit their athletic scholarships

#OleMiss becomes yet another team to replace practice with a protest against racial injustices across America.
They walked from campus down to the square this morning.
Lane Kiffin is among them.
Now I do get this. Replacing practice to peacefully protest is at least attempting to accomplish something. The stuff I don't get is just boycotting practice or a game and going home.

Ah so they walked across town to the other one the city voted on to keep. We can cover this one up too then we’ll have defeated racism once and for all

No doubt. I’m tired of this shite.

Man I’m close to just saying frick it. I don’t need sports. I used to enjoy it but this shite is going over the line

Auburn has practiced in a few days. Rumors it is COVID related, but me thinks protest is the real reason.

I used to listen to news/talk radio all day while working. That got so toxic I had to switch to sports talk, now this!

No, he's saying 35% may choose not to buy tickets.

These have been seen popping up all over Ole Miss's campus. There's several outside of every dorm, classroom, and even in front of athletic department buildings and complexes.
Apparently they were painted in honor of Jacob Blake.

Taking down statues won’t solve racism. But if we cant agree to do something as small as taking down a statue, I don’t know how we think we’re going to tackle the harder reforms.
ETA: as far as I can tell they aren’t even protesting the statue today? It is just a recognizable place on the square. Later they were outside city hall

It's an assault on white men. They're an endangered species don't you know.
