What are we? 4 years in or so with Mullen?
What is his hallmark season in jacksonville so far? What year is the best picture of what Mullen can do as a big 6 head coach?

he should’ve stayed at state….win 7-8 games per year, go to a bowl, be a hero. he saw the bright lights and couldn’t resist. he’ll fall hard.

I have some fricking shitty feeling that Mullen is going to keep it close on Saturday, like a 28-24 type of game. When I saw the line open up at 14.5 I was like "frick that" although I usually don't bet UGA games anyways.
UGA still gets the win, but Florida does enough to make Mullen look competent and the Gators get a moral victory.

We potentially get another one this year. We will see. I can absolutely say I will take where UGA is today with Kirby over what FU has with Mullen. I personally want Mullen there for a long time.

I just hope if we get a big upset win that he doesn't try and use that to keep Grantham on staff. Grantham always falls apart in at least 2 -3 games a year based on his previous stops and his time here.

So fire him after going 8-4 and maybe Butch Jones or Dooley or Pruitt will be available. Go ahead and lose half your recruits and have a big outflux in the portal. I mean if you are going to follow the UT Plan do it all the way with the Lane Train and have him leave after a year.

Whether Mullen survives after next season will come down to whether Anthony Richardson transfers or not. If he was to leave because Mullen keeps starting Jones then Mullen is as good as gone after next season.

I don't disagree with this. Who are we getting this time? Chip Kelly finally? Scott Frost is probably going to need a job soon. How about we steal State's coach again, would that make him happy? Lane Train?

The difference is that at State, it was reaching new heights. At Florida, its below the standard. It doesnt help when Georgia has their best chance at a natty in 41 years.
Mullen Is who he is. Hes loyal to assistants. He wins most of the games he should and rarely wins one he's not supposed to. He gets everything out of the quarterback he has. I will forever believe the best coaching job in the history of the SEC was 2010 Mississippi State. Chris Relf led us to 9 wins. Chris Relf wouldn't have started for most Division II teams.

I hate that argument, just cause you don’t have a young Urban Meyer at Utah waiting for the job doesn’t mean you accept 2-6 in 8 P5 games. Once there’s proof the current guy won’t make the changes to try to win a title then you bring in the next guy and give him a chance to do it
