I'm from Mississippi originally and went to college in Florida and used to visit my brother in Albany Georgia about 5-6 times a year for the 6 years he lived there. I have been pulled over for more bs in Georgia than Florida and Mississippi combined in small towns like Bainbridge, Cairo, Camilla, Pelham, and Thomasville Georgia. I'm talking stuff the police saying we have a problem with stolen cars and pull you over and bring the dogs to search when there wasn't probable cause to begin with. Also riding down a four lane highway and the police on the other side of the highway say it look like I didn't have on seat belts through a tinted window. There are others but last but not least I got pulled over for driving through downtown of one of these towns going 20 in a 25 speed limit. The police say boy you like you lost. Let me see your drivers license. Bs if I ever seen Bs.

The point I'm making is if Georgia fans don't think some racial profiling is going on in that state you are fooling yourself. Also I know that this goes on everywhere but I felt it firsthand heavier in Georgia just from traveling through.

I think the memories are somewhat clouded and the ACC police have always been garbage.

Welcome to the new norm. If you don't get your way... "cry racism". What a fricking joke.

Fields- racism
Mays- toxic environment
Reese- racism

Coupled with coaches and players leaving and an inability to fill the coaching roles makes this a bit odd.

Sounds like a whiny bitch who couldn’t cut it in a strong program.

Playing the racism fiddle is laughable.

Georgia has a very full and very strong roster of coaches and players.

He is a good player. He got passed by a true freshman last season (who is out starter this season).

Ok, so he isn't GOOD enough to start at Uga.

Good has nothing to do with a transfer within the conference.

So again, why did Kirby BLOCK his transfer? Without Kirby's action against him, he would be playing. Seems to me Kirby is the one that is displaying immature behavior.

Who said he wasn't a good player? He is a very good player. He will probably be starting at Ole Miss.

Again, so why BLOCK him from playing? Especially in a year when shite is NOT NORMAL.

I have lived in both states extensively. Mississippi is absolutely more racist and backwoods as a whole.

Hell there is a reason Ole Miss could not bring the full band or play dixie in Sanford Stadium dating back 40-50 years now.

Is this that hard to understand? You cannot set a precedent by allowing in-conference free agency. Otis and Cade could have gone to any number of schools and received no opposition. But, they transferred in conference (Cade, in division).

Let's see what you say when an LSU player transfers to Auburn or Bama.

A couple reasons:

1. Reese makes a conference opponent a potentially more formidable opponent.

2. Him being granted immediate eligibility is potentially precedent for the same being granted to Cade Mays, who is transferring to a division opponent and is a more impactful player.

I don’t think it should be up to the coaches to sign-off on transfers, but Smart is using the tools at his disposal to protect Georgia’s interests.

Kirby can’t block him. Not his decision. This should be clear because Kirby has advocated for other players who weren’t granted eligibility. But I’d suspect Reese being a dick didn’t help.

You forgot
3. Kirby is a racist

Why do you dog fans enable and ignore him fostering this racist/bigoted culture at your school. Shame.

Athens is racist? Well, why did Clarke County vote 70% in favor of a black female governor in the last election?

Oh for fricks sake. You are a fricking moron who talks out your arse like a woman. If Athens is anything, it's full of progressive liberals. Athens is racist? GTFO.

We cannot comment on student-athlete eligibility matters due to federal privacy laws, but we would be happy to share our full response to Otis Reese’s waiver request, if he provides a signed release allowing us to do so. I think the kid has accepted the loss of playing time and has tried to move on. He went to Kirby to inform him of his decision to transfer, Kirby BLOCKED the transfer. So which individual has accepted their role in this matter and which has not?
