Because everyone knows when you leave a school because of its racism the most obvious choice is playing for the Ole Miss Rebels

I also love how he said Kirby “manipulated” him to keep playing.

Kirby convinced him to finish the season and he didn’t get any playing time.

I fully support him leaving UGA, and frick Kirby for being such an uncooperative a-hole every single time his players request a transfer.

That said, the “victim of racism” excuse for leaving doesn’t hold much water, as evidenced by the fact he decided to transfer to Ole Miss. That’s the same as saying “I can’t stand the humidity in Tennessee so I’m moving to Florida.”

He sounds like a giant pussy. I've been pulled over many times and accused of doing drugs and had my car searched. So some kids were goofing off and doing something stupid. So what. Life's hard, wear a helmet.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

I need a moment to compose myself after reading that.

Wow...

ETA: Okay... I think I’m good. Ahhmm, It’s no coincidence that this CONTINUES to be an issue at the University of Georgia. Make. It. Stop. Why must you all treat these players so poorly! Come on guys, it’s 2020! Be better!

Transfer in conference? I support being an A-hole on those too.

Transfer out of conference (to someone not on the next season schedule), UGA has always been supportive.
This isn't rocket science. Transferring within the conference should follow the standard of waiting a year. Cant wait? Go out of conference.

Just found it. He pinned it. It wasn't showing up a minute ago for some reason. Thought he may have deleted it but it was just a Twitter glitch.

On the one hand, I feel for him. It happens to many people, not just because of race, but because of many other factors.

On the other hand, I can't help but feel this is more of a "I didn't get what I wanted from you, so I'm going to play the racism card and see where it gets me" play than any actual longer term pain caused by what happened.

Welcome to the new norm. If you don't get your way... "cry racism". What a fricking joke.

I don't agree with you much but you're spot on here. If he was so hurt by the alleged racist culture in Athens, GA, Oxford, MS is probably the last place I'd go. This kid is either full of shite or naive or both.

That is normal. Transfer to a team not in the same conference or an opponent on your schedule.

But since it's Georgia and all that Maurice Smith shite happened. I kind of feel like:

Pretty status quo for college kids pulled over in a college town. Police assume drugs and/or alcohol are involved in any traffic stop if it's after dark.

Of course, but you deal with and move forward. You don't go out on social media and cry about and expect other people to cater to you. What he's describing isn't even all that bad. There are shitty people all over the world and of all races.
