Michigan has paused football activities, according to 247Sports.

Ohio State's game against MSU is likely canceled and it looks like the Michigan game will also be off.

The Buckeyes might finish the season with just four games. They're screwed and have no shot at the playoff.

Well, except for the CFP.

Duh!

I'm sure MSU and Michigan are heartbroken that they are ruining Ohio State's season. Just all broken up about it.

On a similar note, can you imagine if that happened in this league between rivals? Holy shite.

Harbaugh would 100% do this to keep OSU from meeting the required minimum number of games.

Harbaugh finally catches a break

OT, but Brian Griese who has always been low key and reserved, decided to let loose Saturday.

That would mean #16 Northwestern (5-1) vs #10 Indiana (5-1) would be the most likely match up for the Big Ten. I can't see either leapfrogging enough teams to be in CFP contention.

That would mean SEC Champ, ACC Champ, and 2 wide open spots in the CFP. If ND beats Clemson & Bama beats Florida, they're both out. Hello playoffs, assuming we don't get upset by Auburn which isn't all that much of an upset.

Harbaugh can't lose to Ohio State, again, if he makes his players lick doorknobs to get COVID.

If Ohio State is out of the picture then A&M has a very good chance. Basically, if Alabama wins out and A&M wins out, they're in. 2 ACC teams and 2 SEC teams.

Particularly with Michael Penix out for the year. The B1G has been one giant mess the past few months

If aTm gets a win over Auburn, then they'd be a 9-1 SEC team and could make CFP.

Indiana would have had the better chance, but with Penix out for the rest of the season, they're probably done. I can't see NW climbing that high.

If Ohio State is out the SEC Championship game basically becomes the determination of musical chairs for the CFP.

- Alabama is in regardless
- Florida wins, they are in
- Florida loses, A&M is in

This was predictable. A laundry list of health experts predicted a spike in COVID during cold and flu season. For that very reason, most institutions created academic calendars that suspended on site classes at Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile the brain trust of the B1G pushed their season back into cold and flu season.

I don't want to ever hear another Big 10 blowhard arrogant arse wipe tell me about academic rankings among athletic conferences.

This was stupid and politically motivated.

Michigan finally found a way to beat them!

ETA: damn someone beat me to it. Honestly...fricking good. As smug as the BIG was about doing the intelligent thing and cancelling the season, they deserve every bit of this
