Guess an Ozempic sponsorship is out of the question.

It appears that title has recently been ordained to another young lady. And since this years pageant hasn’t happened yet and no press release states the contrary.
OP’s sister/wife or whoever she is has claimed (and owns) the title. Possession being 9 tenths of the law.
The real miss Alabama should make a statement.

I try not to make fun of people’s appearance, but there is a difference between that and objecting to the intentional obliteration of beauty standards.
This woman has a front butt. Under no circumstances can a person with a front butt be considered physically beautiful.
She might have the most beautiful spirit and personality of anyone you’ve ever met, but she’s not physically beautiful. Sorry, not sorry.

That’s actually contestant 3,6 and 7.

Absolutely pathetic and a slap in the face to people who actually work hard to accomplish anything in life. We are teaching young people that they can lay around on the couch eating twinkies and still be Miss [Whatever]. Hell, in some states you don’t even have to be a woman to win.
Miss whatever pageants are dumb and pointless anyway. I can't imagine ever giving a single flying frick about a pageant lol

Never thought I'd see the day where fat people are celebrated.

This is incredibly disingenuous and you know it.
There are many pageant series out there. Two of them are of importance. The one shown in the original post is not one of them.
The two important ones are:
Miss America - this is technically a scholarship competition. Vanessa Williams, Phyllis George, Lee Meriweather, etc. competed in this competition. This is the series that ultimately dropped the swimsuit competition a few years ago.
Miss USA - this one is the proto-typical beauty pageant and leads to the Miss Universe international competition. Katherine Webb competed in this series as well as Shawn Weatherly and Ali Landry.
Out of these two, which one to compete in depends on whether or not you are going for fame and fortune (Miss USA) or to further your education and business connections (Miss America). The Miss America pageant is considered by far the most prestigious and to have long term value. Pretty much all other pageant competitions with few exceptions are "pay a fee and you get in" sort of pageants. "Glamour" pageants fall into this category, and that's what you saw in the original thread post. The Alabama "Miss Alabama" feeding into the Miss America pageant is what other responders are talking about, not the original pageant noted in the original post.
As someone who has been the official photographer for many Miss Alabama preliminary events, I can absolutely state that the Miss America competition is incredible. The young ladies who compete for Miss America are some of the sharpest people you will meet anywhere. They are almost always in this for the scholarship money. I photographed one lady a few years ago who ended up placing as the runner up for Miss Alabama, and she had won enough scholarship money to pay her way through the doctorate level.
Anyway, if the original poster wants to ding a contestant, fine, just be honest about it. Because I guarantee you could find a dozen similar examples from any state in the SEC footprint. Do the same thing for Miss America contestants and you will find nothing but example after example of incredible women in all respects. JMHO.

Whatever the pageant, she does represent thes state pretty well.

If the job was to elect someone that represents the average white woman in Alabama, I think they did an excellent job. If anything other than that, I am not so sure.

The precipitous decline in society can be correlated with the demand by snowflakes that people stop shaming disgusting behavior.
Shame has an important place in society.
