Correct. Miami should have been.
Let me guess, you’d put ND in over Miami?

No, frick them too. There aren't twelve teams this year. The new format is arse.

Nah actually man just to avoid subjecting the country to a third TTU beatdown of BYU, and to mix the conferences a bit. It would replace:
Bama at A&M, BYU at Tech
with
Bama in Lubbock
BYU at Kyle.
Bama at A&M, BYU at Tech
with
Bama in Lubbock
BYU at Kyle.

Hell can you imagine it? Talk about a clash of civilizations.
Old South vs New South
Cotton vs Oil
High plains raiders vs Southern blue bloods.
Stonewall Jackson meets Quannah Parker
Lubbock wind whipping, tortillas flying, damn. I wanna see that game. Not... this.

Well that’s the system we have. If we’re going to have a 12 team playoff, then Bama was deserving and so was Miami. I might argue Texas and Vanderbilt should be in before both of Miami or ND, but the point of this thread is that the ball was dropped by putting these 2 JV teams in with JMU and Tulane. That’s the biggest issue

Gotcha. I happen to think Vandy and Texas should both be in before BYU. Overall SOS should mean something. Quality wins should mean something. BYU really didn’t have any real quality wins. Maybe the win over Arizona? They were 9-3, but who did they beat?

This is shameful.
These G5 games are like inviting ugly girls to the Miss America pageant just to make fun of their looks in front of the world. Winning their conference shouldn’t subject these teams to humiliation

Why do yall have to crap on the rebels “big” win today? It’s ridiculous!! That was a belt to arse beating that Tulame took. It reminds of the beating that Kiffin has put on the rebel fanbase for the last month.

Here is my uneducated analysis.
1. Sec, Big10, ACC, B12 are the puppet masters behind the CFP.
2. The commissioners of each have masters they answer too
3. Theses masters are the School Chancellors./ Presidents and their respective boards.
4. The BCS and subsequent CFP were designed to extract the maximum monetary benefit for the masters above.
5. This weekend cost these masters mucho dinero. I’m sure the payouts are predicated on tv viewship and ticket sales etc. with an appropriate division to all.
6. Can you imagine the tv rating for a Miami/ ND rematch today.or, a Texas / Oregon game in Eugene? Lots of money lost today for the masters.
7.G5 was included to avoid lawsuits from these lesser conferences. They may be bad in Football but collectively have much political clout in Washington.
8. This shitshow will get worst by adding more games but they will have too and I don’t think 16 is the end.
So, what will I do as a fan? Not watch
Have a good night.

And to think the jackass UGA and LSU fans spent more time complaining about how Bama didnt belong and not one word about the shitshow mid major teams that got in and are getting their a$$es kicked. I think its obvious who didnt belong...

Wonder if G5 teams will eventually decline these invitations to beatings.
The SWAC did that some time ago when there was DII. The SWAC champ would get obliterated every year in the DII playoffs, so they created their own post-season bowl/championship game
