This thread is unintentionally very amusing. I think CNB is probably going to have an aneurysm if one more person doesn't read what the map is about.
I just want to know how we can kick BSU out of Alabama. If they lose do they give up that part to the team that beat them? Is southeast Alabama going to passed around by MAC or whatever conference they play in?

Miss St will take La Tech's land then we will get it the following week. Not sure how to get Tulane and ULL's land though. Have to do some schedule analysis.
EDT: Ok ULL plays both Ole Miss and TX A&M, so we have a shot at their land that way. Tulane is tougher though. They do play Oklahoma so maybe a bowl game land grab to complete our state.
Here's how LSU gets Tulane's land:
Navy takes it this week
Memphis takes it on October 14
Houston takes it on October 19
South Florida takes it on November 4
Tulsa takes it on November 16
Temple takes it on November 25
LSU beats Temple in the Birmingham Bowl

When/if Boise loses they will pass the land onto the team that beats them. One way we can get it is if BYU beats BSU then BYU loses to MS St and then we beat them. You can really go down a rabbit hole trying to figure out how to get certain land.

I admit that I've called more than one person on this board retarded during my time here, but it was all in good fun. I didn't think anyone one here was actually mentally challenged. Some of the posts in this thread, though, are making me wonder.

I just want to invade them on two fronts. I hate seeing the smurfs in the South. For the first time I am feeling my German ancestry.

That's what makes the map so awesome. Conquered territory goes to the victor...so whoever beats Boise State gets their territory, along with what originally belonged to Troy.
So BSU could lose to Virginia, who could lose to Georgia Tech, who could lose to UGA...and the land could wind up in UGA's hands (paws).

Yeah, I dig it, except if you beat a team that lost the week before you get nothing. Risk everything and gain nothing on the map. I plan on following it every week. It is cooler than the belt one.

Pretty cool. I guess it will just flop all around unless you're undefeated.
Using his example from last year, a 5-4 Pitt defeats a 9-0 Clemson so then inherits Clemson's land (Clemson and all that came with the 9 wins). Pitt wins 3 more games, acquires more land, then loses to Northwestern. Northwestern acquires a significant amount to end year.
Clemson then acquires very little in Wake Forest and USC, until they take whatever large amount from OSU and Alabama. However, Northwestern is in possession of Clemson's spoils from weeks 1-9? Is that correct?

Why do you think Minnesota is so large?
Fried Cheese Curds
Beer
Donuts
Tater Tot and meatball casserole
Corn ice cream
Deep fried ribs
Deep fried baklava
Deep fried kale
Maple bacon apple pie
Donut sliders
I am guessing all that carbs and fried foods would put weight on anybody

But what happens to your land with a 2nd loss?
2nd loss in a row, you own no land, thus your attempt to become a land barron once more is denied and the victor just retains their territory without gaining any more.
However, assume you lose your first 10 games, but then beat someone that is 10-0, you automatically become a massive landowner.
ETA:
If you lose your original plot of land, the only way to win it back is to beat someone who beat the person you lost to...or somewhere else down the line.

I can see quite a few of folks probably did not attend the universities that they are cheering for every week. Wow.

I enjoy the fact that a school could control half the map and not control where they are located.

I just want to know what chain of events has to happen for Aggy to get his land back.
