Could there be some truth behind the rumors about Jimbo's future if he drops his next three? Which is a serious possibility.

Clark Lea and Jedd Fisch are sitting on the North Pole.

If he’s 1-5 after this stretch, I doubt he survives. But I’m not sure they’ll make a hire that’ll do any different than him or Rumlin

some of these are always so silly. 1st and 2nd year head coaches, especially some of them being complete trash can rebuilds, are not on the hot seat. Neither is Jimbo, for that matter, after just signing a fully guaranteed 4 year extension with a raise less than a year ago. I don't care how much money A&M has, no one is paying his nearly $100 million buyout this year.

Coaches would be itching to get to Aggieland with all that talent. Would be a good move for an up and comer who would double his salary within a year.

Why would Fitzgerald at Northwestern be on the hot seat? Isn't he far and away their best coach ever?

He is, but that's not a high bar. Outside the COVID year, his teams have been pretty awful lately. Kinda crazy he's been coaching there as long as he has as young as he still is

This is kinda like a Wheres Waldo puzzle... you're not sure where he'll be or what outfit he'll be wearing but you absolutely know Butch Jones is somewhere on that grid.

At least one oddsmaker has two SEC coaches in the top 10 of most likely to be the next coach fired.

#4 Jimbo - 14%

#7 Harsin - 9%

Hopefully both of them stay a while

I can give you 100 Million reasons that Jimbo isn't #1.

I'm confused how Army was able to flip the script on Navy some. Navy used to have it on lock.

The War on Terrorism ended.

Now, what is TAMU's excuse for sucking since WW2 started?

He is guaranteed how much money? He ain't going anywhere as of now, even with all that aggy money they have. He gets a free pass this year.

Neil Brown should be way higher. There's no way he makes it beyond this year

I think Jimbo would have to go 6-6 to be fired. They will give him next season with these new recruits if he doesn't totally collapse I think.

I mean, that's kinda the point- it's Northwestern. Historically, they're a solid matchup for Vanderbilt, a basement team in a (good) P5 conference.

He's got them going to bowls regularly, and I think one or two division titles if I recall correctly.

Northwestern should not fire a guy that makes them actually competitive
