It was not a meaningless war and the domino theory really wasn't a theory just the realilty of the time. Our mistake was dragging it out and fighting with one hand behind our back but make no mistake opposing communisms at every turn was the right call.

There are no excuse makers for this coaching staff on this site. They do not exist. There are people who are looking for reasons to be hopeful and some who try to put the struggles in context. You and your ilk wanted McMahon fired (like most of us) and since he didn’t y’all have decided to throw temper tantrums about it in every thread about basketball like it will change the decision that has already been made. It is clear that if results aren’t much better he is gone so it should be a win/win. Y’all just want to make sure everybody else is as miserable as you are.

You don’t even understand what conversation is taking place. Nobody is defending McMahon and there aren’t any McMahon fan boys. You are confusing that with people who simply realize he is here next year so we might as well support the team and that includes the coach. If he doesn’t win he is gone so let’s at least see if a little more money changes anything. It’s a least a little reason to be somewhat hopeful. Throwing a temper tantrum and spamming every conversation about next year because you wanted the coach fired is weak. Just let it play out one more year. If he sucks again he is gone so you will get your way

Obviously foul trouble hurt his ability to play more minutes but I think the idea is that can be improved with another year of development/maturity. However none of that changes the proven fact that he can be a starter on a tournament team. that's already transpired. Also while 15 minutes a game is low for a starter it is still pretty decent, not some end of the bench guy. That is still serious minutes especially for a 5. Of course we would like him to improve but his floor is still a useful player

I think Nwoko can absolutely be a starter at the 5, he was a starter on a top 25 team so it should go without saying. He might not be a star but he can provide defense and rim protection and should put up better rebounding numbers if he can improve on staying out of foul trouble

People should be able to drink and buy whatever they want for the most part but to pretend that raw milk doesn't carry at least some risk is laughable.
