If I had to choose one guaranteed loss it’d be Virginia. Non conference and at the beginning of the season against a team we don’t hate.

It's supposed to be from your SEC schedule.

Doh! My bad. If we had to lose a game I guess I’d pick Bama cause it’s early and less likely to keep us from Atlanta than an East loss.

A couple of people have missed the SEC part so it's probably not super clear haha. Bama is definitely a good choice. UGA could probably still get a rematch with them in the SEC championship game even with the loss.

Auburn seems to be the perennial "We should beat them but I wouldn't be surprised or too upset if they beat us" team

We feel the same way about LSU

As for me:

Win: thUGA. Tired of Gus shitting the bed against them. Especially some very mediocre thUGA teams.

Loss: LSU. It doesn't really seem to matter, as the last 2 times Auburn has been to the SECC they had lost to LSU.

Interesting topic. I feel the same as my LSU brethren.

Win: Bama
Loss: Florida

If we beat Bama, we likely win the West and control our own destiny. Florida will be the second highest rank team we play, so a loss there is more tolerable. 11-1 LSU can definitely make the playoffs. Rematch against Florida for the SECCG?

UGA:

Win: Florida

This game will probably be essential to win the East. Unless Florida slips up somewhere in the east where they're not supposed to, I can't see UGA losing this game and still winning the East.

Loss: Alabama

If UGA has to lose a conference game, it should be against a team from the West. Alabama will likely be ranked #1 in the country and we will be playing in Tuscaloosa. No one would hold it against UGA for losing this game, especially since it is early in the season.

Also, if we take care of business in the East, we will probably get another shot at them anyway.

My thoughts exactly.

Win: Alabama
Loss: Florida

Though it's an OOC game, if we lose to Texas my GF will never let me hear the end of it.

The obvious choices for Florida.

Win: Georgia

Loss: LSU

But I am going against the grain here. So these are my picks.

Win: Ole Miss - I want to go to this game and we lost last time I went to Oxford.

Loss: Georgia - They need to win a few more to really spice the rivalry up.

For the Hogs:
Win - any will do
Loss - too many from which to choose

For South Carolina

Preferred Win: Florida. I know most of my fellow Gamecocks in the thread want to beat A&M, but South Carolina has blown 2 consecutive 4th quarter leads to the Gators and that's eaten away at me and most fans I think.

Preferred Loss LSU. The real Death Valley is a tough place to play. There's no shame in losing there.

...USC could drop the next 5 to the lil ol aggy and it wouldn't make me lose sleep.

however, I do care a great deal to avoid a 7th straight setback on Thanksgiving weekend. the orange jackholes.

ETA - OP wanted SEC. please forgive me. in that case W over the other orange jackholes from UTK. L would be LSU in Death Valley

~ Regards
