If the season started on Saturday and you could choose one guaranteed win and one guaranteed loss from your team's upcoming SEC schedule who would it be and why?

For South Carolina:

Win:

Texas A&M. SC has not beat them since they joined the conference in 2012. They killed us last year. Not to mention the opening day of the SEC network in 2014 where Kenny Hill annihilated us on National Television.

Loss:

Georgia. Most likely going to lose this game anyways and the upset last year would make this game a lot easier to swallow. It would be a really fun upset again, but this wouldn't be a huge deal for SC to lose.

For LSU:

Win:

Alabama. Some of my comrades have talked so much shite after this season (rightly so) but I don't feel like starting another losing streak to Bama.

Loss:

Florida. Would prefer to lose to a team from the East if we have to lose a conference game. Almost said Texas because it wouldn't affect our SEC standing but I don't think I can listen to those damn fans if they beat us

UGA:

Win- Vandy
Because Vandy and @ Athens

Loss- Alabama in all likelihood.
Seems like Saban always does well in these early season high profile match-ups. I know they have USCw currently on the schedule in Week 1, but w/ GA State between USCw and UGA I am sure they'll recover from that quickly (if they play) and begin focusing on UGA.

Well I did say "SEC" team in the title or I would have definitely chose Clemson for a guaranteed win haha. I can definitely understand the Texas thing too, those fans are terrible.

UGA and Alabama is a great September matchup. Can't wait for that one.

I think OP meant which win and loss would you prefer/tolerate. Surely UGA fans would want to guarantee the win over Bama right? I just looked at yall's schedule and a "preferred" loss is hard to find. I know how much yall dislike Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee. But you also wouldn't want to lose to USCe twice in a row. I suppose you could drop the UVA opener and it wouldn't be the end of the world.. end of the season and non-conference.

Win: LSU. Death Valley and likely at night? Would be the perfect signature win for Leach in his first season

Loss: Alabama. They beat the shite out of us every year so what’s another year?

Damn I didn't even see that - my bad. As an LSU alum you shouldn't be surprised my reading comprehension is shite

Murph - I'm an idiot - disregard my reply to you

The Alabama reasoning is pretty funny.

You had it correct. I updated the title to hopefully provide more clarification!

It is also accurate. Other than 2017 (Dan choking) and 2014 (Dak ANDD Dan choking) we have hardly been able to field a team against them.

If that's the case:
I want UGA to beat Alabama. Period.
Loss I'd most tolerate: Auburn. We've beat the frick out of them way more than we should have since 2005, and it seems like they are due for a win every 3 or 4 years. Plus a loss to Auburn and UAT wouldn't matter that much if we take care of business in the East.

While losing two in a row to SCAR would be embarrassing, I can tolerate it more than a loss to the jort wearing phaggits or to "wE'rE BaCk" Champions of Life UTK.

For UGA

Win would be South Carolina

Loss we will always seem to slip up on a game we should win. I'll say uf gets us this year. I prefer we beat bama this year more

Why South Carolina? I figured for UGA they would want to beat Alabama, Florida, Auburn, etc.

Haven’t you beaten Alabama twice as many times as LSU in the last 20 years?

Auburn seems to be the perennial "We should beat them but I wouldn't be surprised or too upset if they beat us" team It's the same for LSU with them. They're just a damn wild card every single year. Never know what you're going to get.
