If we've learned anything in the last 8 months, it's that Ole Miss staff are always right and never lie.
Muh no one is getting on that plane except him and his brother.
Might be time for you boys to calm down, step away from the computer or phone, and see what happens. If CBS reporters have sources saying not only were LSU coaches behind the whole thing, but the administration supported it, that my friend is a big problem. It could be complete BS, but right now Lane has the entire sports loving world rooting for LSU to go down and people are digging into ways to do it. Maybe they're innocent, maybe not... but as someone who lived through the ""If you have facts about a violation, email compliance@olemiss.edu. If not, please don't slander the young men" debacle, once you have pissed off everyone, they will take all the time and effort necessary to bring you down.
LSU fans can blame or bash Ole Miss for all this, but is way beyond Ole Miss fans wanting revenge or whatever on LSU and Kiffin. People hated Kiffin and Wade to begin with, putting those two together and giving the finger to everyone..... LSU has much bigger problems than Ole Miss right now.

How is this not lack of institutional control?
What established NCAA rules were broken?
If no established NCAA rules were broken then LOIC cannot be applied.

The headline reads “LSU administration supported” that by definition would show institutional control

Could the NCAA gain back some respect and project some power and control by issuing a death pentaly in this case ?

These CBS Sports guys seem to be as obsessed with Lane as the Yahoo Sports guys were with Will Wade. The yahoo sports guys were at least has beens. I’ve never heard of these CBS guys until today.

Apparently, some of these guys never watched the People's Court.
"If the NCAA denies you eligibility, don't take the law into your own hands, you bring them to court."
All people have a right to seek a redress of their grievances in court. To try to penalize a school for suggesting a recruit go to court if they feel they have been wronged would be the dumbest thing the NCAA could ever do, and they have done some dumb things.

"A lot of people want to put the blame on us athletes but it is also bad timing," Wright said. "The people who are giving us a fifth year it's bad timing by them. If they were going to pass this they should have done it a long time ago. They should have done it earlier this year instead of letting people get to teams to where it is looking like 'oh now you're just leaving a team to go back to college.'"
Interesting POV.

Oh, I see. Pure , vrtuous, innocent, ethical, noble LSU was sitting there minding it own business ( probably volunteering at Our Lady Of The Lake Hospital cuddling newborns in the NICU ) when these evil football players from the NFL came in and took over. Got it !
Sheesh !

The guy who brought in the FBI to search for bugs?
Jones lied his arse off because that never happened. One of the player’s dad works for the FBI and lives in town and might have been around that’s the extent of the FBI involvement, according to Golding
What did happen, is that this fricking loser admitted that he was so paranoid, he himself got on his knees and searched his desk for bugs like a lunatic.
The picture below is from an article where Pete Golding denied anything like that actually happened. The quote at the top is Walker Jones, and you can see underneath the picture that Pete Golding says “It wasn’t anything like that”.
So I’m sure Walker Jones wouldn’t lie about the interest in a former NFL player…..
