It shows complete control. “If you want to see if you are eligible, a court needs to decide”. A court decided.

Bylaw 13 — impermissible recruiting contact / transfer tampering
Bylaw 13 only applies to athletes of another NCAA Division I institution. Kiffin did not break this.

Bylaw 11.1.1.1
Is only used in penalty deliberations once Level I or Level II violations have been alleged, but it is not itself a “ban” on doing anything as you are alleging.
You didn't pass the test and provide valid rules Kiffin broke, but I’ll give you credit for being the only poster in 4 days to try.

Lane is the only coach who has had to justify his actions to the SEC. Good luck defending that

Nothing will come of this. It's the Wild West. Can't break the laws in lawless country.

You are welcome. LSU needs all the money it can get to compete effectively ;). That happens when you are poor in today’s CFB

You can't write a fricking rule after the fact then hold that school accountable for this rule you just wrote.
Are some of you functionally retarded?

And it will end up in court which is always where all of this was heading.

What will end up in court? Who would be the plaintiff and who would be the defendant? LSU can still honor their agreement with these players and play them. The only scenario that stands any ground would be for Wright and Harris to sue LSU for refusing to uphold any agreement they made with them. Nothing in the SEC ruling says the kids aren't allowed to play - just that the institution will be held responsible.

No it won't. You think LOLSU is going to sue the SEC over a rule every other member agreed to? That would be one of the dumbest moves ever made in the history of football. That would give your football team the death penalty.
The ignorance of some of you LOLSU fans is absolutely epic.

Lack of institutional control how?

LSU may have created a problem bigger than an eligibility loophole.
CBS reports LSU & Lane Kiffin encouraged NFL players to sue the NCAA.
The NCAA Constitution allows action when a member’s conduct “undermines the interests of the Association.”
That clause could fit here.
On the difficult place the SEC finds itself because of its own members.
Serious lulz if the NCAA can use that member's conduct clause to suspend his arse.
Kiffin saying frick it and heading to the NFL in September would be the ultimate ending to this shitshow.
