No doubt. I know a guy who has a MWR job in Germany which does not have any limitation on how long he can work OCONUS. He has ran what amounts to a pawn shop on that base for about 25 years. Young soldiers get paid, blow their money at a bar and a brothel in one night and then pawn everything they own to make it next payday. Back when re-enlisted bonuses were pushing $30k those young men would be broke within a week and old boy would have their Beamer sitting in his yard waiting for them to bring the title.

I've been making over six figures for 15 years now. Not fkoff money, as they say, but my kids have new shoes.

And never once, ever, have I bought a new car. And never have I had a car payment.

I buy a car for cash when it's five years old and drive it for five (in the old days I'd buy a ten year old car and drive it for five). Then in five years I buy another 'new' five year old car, and so on and so on.

I usually lose about 20 percent in five years. So if I bought it for 25K, I sell it for 20K.

If this gummy arse-face actually bought this car brand new, he's an idiot.

Hopefully it will.

That’s a death penalty violation.

He is getting around what he could've gotten for one year as a second round pick.

1 year guys that are tall statues are no longer getting second round contracts.

He came back to go in the first round with less competition at QB in that draft

He’s still an immobile QB wanting to go to a league that doesn’t value immobile QBs. He’s likely the 5th or 6th QB taken at best barring him becoming a dual threat.

quote:

It was a 50/50 decision and he chose to come back

Was he looking to transfer or something?

You guys are straight paying Nico

The university of Tennessee is not, was not, and is prohibited from paying for players. He is capitalizing on his marketability to cash in on national and regional NIL deals.

provided he's good enough

True dual threat QB with better measurables than Beck. If you honestly believe Beck is a second round guy today then you will believe Nico is a number one overall this time next year. Nico is raw and underweight at the beginning of his college journey.

You always seem to “know” things that normal people aren’t privy to, but since you lost credibility the day you started posting here, so no one believes you.

Yes I’m more informed than you. Stockton had a 1002k deal and Vandergriff has a 924k deal. UGA was sued to release its players NIL deals and those too were released.

You joined this site right before the uga vol game in 2022. You really thought the vols were back, and you were gonna be able to give those dawgs hell.

But then your team got destroyed.

Ok, then let’s see link to the numbers. I am genuinely curious how rich these kids are because of NIL.

You need to understand the difference between what you did and a player signed to play for you getting money from a collective.

You're gonna be disappointed in a year. You are also gonna be disappointed this year when Ladd is taken earlier than Hyatt or Tillman were.
This football to NFL thing ain't your bag.

Why you kept saying the same thing about Beck over and over, I have no idea. No reason for me to respond to them if you don't get this one.

"1.26 NFL Team Logo for Seahawks Seattle Seahawks: Carson Beck, QB, Georgia

If not sooner, Seattle could be looking for a replacement for Geno Smith by the time of the 2025 NFL Draft.

After a bit of a slow start, Beck heated up for Georgia, showing off a powerful arm and an ability to push the ball downfield. In 2023, Beck completed 72 percent of his passes for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder has upside and could become a legit quarterback prospect by the 2025 NFL Draft."

Walter football 2025 mock

I know you will keep responding with your wisdom, just like you did about UGA and our WRs.

Meanwhile Ladd will make our second WR in three drafts taken in the second round or earlier.
And Tennessee will keep sending in 1000 yard WRs that can't run a full route tree and keep getting pushed back in the draft. Here's hoping Tillman, V. Jones, and Hyatt continue to develop.

McConkey in Mock Drafts:

Walter Football: 50th overall to the Eagles.

ESPN: Matt Miller's 2 round mock, 33rd pick overall to the Panthers.

PFF: 34th overall to the Patriots

Matt Harmon breaks down both NFL/College prospects in route running.

This is what he got on 8 games looking at Hyatt in college.

Coverage. Percentile score

Man. 42nd
Zone 4th
Press 18th

Dumb use of money for Beck. Take the cash and invest most of it. He will be broke at 26 if he continues this.

What an idiot. I am not buying a car that costs that much unless I have 50 mil in the bank. He probably has about a mil and went and bought that car.

I agree....I would go so far to say anyone, regardless of their income, who bought that car would be an idiot. They'd be an idiot with an expensive arse car but an idiot all the same.

No, it wasn't.

What was reported were NIL Contract "valuations". Not actual NIL deals.

The valuations included are current NIL valuations as well, which means the number for Brock Vandagriff is based on him being at UK, not UGA.

You have your facts all messed up. But that's par for the course for you.

Beck versus Tennessee last year WITHOUT Ladd McConkey:

24 of 30 passing for 298 yards and three touchdowns.

Seems to check out.
