What I did? I am a booster for THS and GCSU. But I digress.

I’m going to assume from your post you don’t understand the role of collective, brokers, and NILs. A fraction of NIL deals are paid out by collectives. Spyre is a broker/ marketing agency, they do not pay anything to anyone. They are not a booster. The Volunteer Club is the university of Tennessee collective. They are a booster and sponsor NIL contracts for donors.

You're gonna be disappointed in a year.

How do?

You are also gonna be disappointed this year when Ladd is taken earlier than Hyatt or Tillman were

Why? General managers make mistakes in the draft all the time. Hyatt is averaging 16 yards a catch in 13 games on a bad Giants team. And Tillman is averaging 11 yards a game in 11 games with the Browns. Both are in the league and very likely to atleast see a second contract. McConkey will be fortunate to see that as a rookie.

Beck as the 4th QB going into the season

Another evaluation

None of Sanders, Beck or Ewers are viewed as can't-miss NFL prospects as of now, but the 2024 season could help give talent evaluators a different viewpoint heading into the 2025 draft.

You once again are showing your shoddy ability to defend your takes.

You just gave a take that clairifies what I said. Beck got a late first to second round grade. He's coming back to get more starts and be in a class where he can possibly be the first QB taken. The link you gave with the ESPN guy discussing next year's draft is exactly what I was saying. It's not as deep as this year's, so it's better for him as he can improve his stock and has less competition at the position.

Also, both Walter Camp links are from last year, one from the summer before Beck had even taken a snap as a starting QB.

Finally, those WRs had terrible years for rookies. Those stats you gave mean very little because they are so small. The league is filled with many WRs who had more production that are gone now. They can't run routes and they were terrible as first year rookies.

According to statmuse Hyatt was 16th among rookie WRs this year in yardage. I have to pay for a statmuse sub to see where Tillman ranked because he's so far down on the list. For reference Georgie Pickens was fourth in this stat his rookie year. Hardman, who has been a big disappointment, was ninth in the stat his rookie year.

I posted numerous links showing him as the 4th-7th QB in the 25 class. Including evaluations of his 2023 season. I give him all the credit it the world for being tall enough and he has an NFL arm but every evaluation I’ve seen has the same negatives of hesitation, not mobile, inexperience, inconsistency in his mechanics, gets happy feet. It’s like reading a taller Jake Fromms analysis. And even in a weak draft class he’s at best the 4th QB taken, a mid 3rd round guy.

As for the stats, the giants were terrible this year and Hyatt was the 3rd best WR they had statswise as a rookie. The Browns played 5 different QBs this year and again Tillman was the 3rd leading WR for them in limiting playing time. While not setting the record books on fire that still significant. And it’s better than McConkey is likely to do. I’ll wait on the combine to see the measurements because I’ve seen anything from 5’10 185 to 6’205 and his 40 seems to be in the 4.6 range. Not really a recipe for success in the NFL. As for where he’s taken? I would suspect if he’s really 6’ and can get down around 4.5 40 he might be a 3rd-4th round. If he’s really 5’10 and 180ish 4th- UDFA.

Use status to check where the Giants and Browns were offensively. Both were terrible with no answer at QB.

They were terrible because they don't have good players. Amari Cooper somehow found a way to be productive in the offense. Njoku was one of the best TEs this year in production.

The Browns were just below the median team in passing offense this year.

The Colts were worse but Downs was much better than Tillman.
The Ravens were worse, but Flowers was one of the best WRs in the NFL.

Would you like to bet that Hyatt and Tillman receive a second contract? The odds are against them. You can look at the stats where they rank their first year and most of the players ranked there as rookies are gone in three or four years.

Giants offense was bad, but bad players play on bad offenses.

You gave four links. Here are the dates for those links.

NFL draft buzz qb rankings: Have no idea who they use or how respected they are. But this one is at least from January.

Bleacher Report: This is from this year, but it doesn't contradict anything stated before. It says that next year's class is weaker at QB. It does not say Beck will not be a first round pick. It actually what I stated as the reason he's coming back as there is a much greater chance for him to be the first QB taken.

Pro Football Network: Like BR, this one literally says Beck is one of the top three QBs in next year's class. I fail to see how this proves anything. Also, the story is from November.

And finally Walterfootball: A post from seven months ago from the same guy who I have previously linked in a post from January that has Carson going in the first round of the NFL draft. Your link literally from seven months ago, which is early July and before Beck had started one game at QB.

I never said you didn't post several sources. I said all but one of them were complete shite.

You're great with sources Smoke!!!

Update: First rounders usually make their second contract.

First round mock

Quarterback is the term

Time will tell. McConkey has a chance at being a possession WR due to his route running but being short, undersized and of below average speed is tough to overcome. Hopefully he attends the combine and participates but I get why he would just do private workouts. But GMs make draft mistakes every year and wasting a pick before the 3rd round on him would be just that that.

Cool. Do you have any other great links about Beck's draft status from the summer of 2023?

He's not a possession receiver and no one in the SEC has been able to cover him for 3 years and at the senior bowl again no one can cover him. He has a chance because he's a damn good receiver. Everything else your saying is just butthurt non sense and the sad thing is - All UT had to do was offer him and they didn't. Cry harder
