Not sure if he will be or won't be.

You or all of the other Tenner alts say the same thing every year. You just cant seem to comprehend the effects of stacked recruiting classes

You don’t have a Bowers or even another Van Pran lined up. Those guys are once in every 10 or 20 year studs

He’s got the quickest release of any QB I’ve seen this year

Not the information we were looking for but I agree, that’s always a good time to post.

Beck's getting folded up like a cheap suit on Saturday.

Bowers yes. I love Van Pran, but right now he’s projected to be a mid-round pick. That’s replicable when you recruit like UGA does.

The last Georgia QB with a similar quality release combined with great arm strength was Matthew Stafford.

I think he has that kind of potential.

I’m not saying he’s been the best QB in the conference, that would be Jayden Daniels.

But he’s made throws no one else in the conference can. I suspect from an NFL eval standpoint he might get the highest nfl grade out of anyone in the SEC at QB and could be in that tier right behind the early 1st rd guys like Williams.

It’s strange because he doesn’t have any hype around him but some of his efficiency numbers are better than the guys who do (Penix, Maye, Williams, etc).

Beck still has some issues to iron out (deep ball underthrows and throwing slightly behind receivers on crossing routes). He's definitely a great QB, and has the skills that translate to the NFL, but he can be elite.

I'm leaning that he comes back. Selfishly, I hope that is the case.

I'm super impressed with his ability to play behind an NFL Oline and literally not have to do anything.

Won't he be playing behind an NFL Oline when he is in the NFL?
Imagine. Now in order to be legit you have to play on a crappy 3 loss team.

He is borderline first already, seen some reports Georgia is getting nervous and putting together a financial package to keep him Athens.

I am sure it will come down to whether or not he gets a first round grade. Which I believe he will.

It will be interesting. He did not walk on Senior Day, so some have speculated the will return. As an above poster said, if he does well Saturday and (if we make it) the playoffs, then he will probably be gone. If he struggles he might return.

Why does everyone look to senior day as the tell all if he is leaving or coming back?

"Not walking" avoids distractions (media/social media).

He's also throwing seeds into tight coverage. If you don't believe me go watch the first half of the Tennessee game. He made some elite throws.

He is a very accurate passer and can fit the ball into some tight windows. his biggest weakness at this point is his accuracy on the deep ball. He seems a bit erratic there.

Obviously not quite as good as Bowers, but Delp is very special VERY special. We will lose a little bit, but not a ton.

Van Pran is great, but we usually line up solid centers, and have one waiting in the wings.....in fact, I think we have choice between two.

More to your point, yes, we will lose a lot of talent this year, just like we did last year and the year before. We will be improved in some areas and regress in some areas. All in all we will be similar to better than this year.

While true - Bowers isn't replaceable. Oscar Delp is going to be really good in his own right and there is a couple of dudes behind him as well. TE isn't really going to be a weak spot for Georgia for a while. Offensive line will be the big question mark coming into next year depending on who we get back. That said, Our backups do get playing time and there is alot of talent there as well. May not be the 12-0 team that we are this year but anything less than 10 wins would be a suprise.

If you're the Falcons with that poo-poo platter at QB, and you're sitting there on draft day and Beck is available, do you pull the trigger*? An otherwise decent offensive roster that would be wasted remaining status quo at QB.

*I'm assuming that the Falcons will not be high enough for the first 2 QBs (unless there's a trade of picks that I don't recall).

Only thing he doesn’t do at an elite level is throw long. That could be receivers or something but he has missed several wide open deep passes by a bunch overthrown.
