Love Mississippi. Friendly people, great for outdoors and not over-developed. Also their history-based tourism market is on the rise.

The coast is ok but not like a true big city.

Yep...now please stay the hell out...especially if the Delta. I’d be in favor of blocking out of staters from the lease of hunting real estate and a tax on out of stater purchase of land in MS for that matter as well.

Except I-10 corridor? Everything south of and including Jackson sucks. North MS is where it’s at.

North louisiana, Mississippi (except the coast), all of Alabama, and the Florida panhandle, all sucks if you are a tourist. Since I don’t live there, I’d rather not pass through. It’s unavoidable, sadly.

ETA: Northeast Alabama has nice scenery.

Bossier City is not bad if you like gambling.
Plus Louisiana Downs.

No, we can’t all agree to this...when I left Missssippi I lived in Nashville, Atlanta, and Miami...when I became financially independent, I moved back to Mississippi...

Alabama's beaches and waters are the cleanest in the country

Alabama has a “No Fun” rule for their beaches. No thanks, I’ll drive the extra half hour to Florida.

This seems like a sad response thread due to Ms schools being better recently in football, basketball, and baseball then the bama-aggies.

Alabama has the cleanest beaches? Assuming you’ve never seen the Outer Banks or even Maine.
