No, I don’t consider that cheating. It was an NCAA violation, but not one that benefitted his team. The NCAA can pop you for a lot of things that I don’t think are “cheating”.

PS- when you do something that's against the rules of an organization you're a member of, it's called......cheating....oh, and who was at that BBQ?

I had a much longer response in mind, but you aren’t worth it, you crotchety old fart.

Will Wade was caught on a wiretap with the main suspect of a federal investigation.
And was outright insubordinate when Alleva requested they discuss the issue. Even if he’s never proven to have paid a player, you can’t just refuse to report to your boss then act flabbergasted when you get suspended over it. I still can’t believe there are people defending that.

So you have no problem in calling Saban a cheater as well...
Since that’s the case, then we can all agree and move on...

bama had a strength coach giving out money. That is cheating. So using your logic......the bama football program is cheating.

No FBI investigation, just NCAA
As far as I know, its just an internal LSU investigation.
There is no NCAA investigation. And the NCAA cleared the player.

Clearing a player to play does not mean the player is free and clear or that there isn’t an ncaa violation.

another BS "claim" constantly made by LSU fans. IIRC, the very first line of the statement by LSU said LSU had cleared Smart.
quote:
LSU says the investigation is not closed, but as of now they have not found any wrongdoing conducted by Smart. And because of his full cooperation and transparency, he’s been cleared by university officials for play.

However, how many wins and titles has BP had to vacate in his head coaching career?
Why would you ask such a question if you didn't know the answer to be some nonzero number?
Do you just enjoy having your head served back to you on a platter?

Where? I'm not arguing, Im asking. Really haven't followed it too much.
I found this, but it's from the end of February:
quote:
“LSU has confirmed with NCAA officials that there is no active investigation into the men’s basketball program,” the statement read. “LSU Athletics stands for full compliance and partnership with the NCAA and the SEC.”
quote:
NCAA had no concrete evidence of any wrongdoing and the investigation had stalled in its exploratory phase.

Only a LUSer continues the blind delusion alluded to by the op. So...for his benefit...
There is no difference between BP and WW.. just like there is no difference between...
Coach Zero and Saban..
General Sherman and Ghandi
Ears Whitworth and Paul Bryant
Empress Theadora and Mother Theresa
Do you comprende?

It’s been linked and argued on here. I don’t keep bookmarks about this stuff. But this was specifically of topic.

Thats fine, so no link or anything? Just that it was posted here, but cant be found anywhere today? And searching here just pulls up people arguing that there isnt an investigation. No one ever links any proof there is one.
