LSU fans are trying really hard.

If you haven't figured out the difference in the two situations yet, nobody can explain it to you.

You have to understand, they are under the impression Pearl has not spoken to our AD in over two years...

Sounds something like,"what's the difference between Machinegun Kelly and Babyface Nelson?" BOTH were crooks.
You are obviously asking the question because it relates to hypocrisy (and it IS!) by Auburn fans, but it doesn't diminish the fact that Wade is a cheat, too. You should use the "pot & kettle" or "people in glass houses" analogy if you want to correctly address this issue.

Zero.

As far as I can find, Pearl has never vacated squat.

Here's the difference:

Pearl fed a kid, then told the kid and the father to keep it from the NCAA. Not honest, but really? He got hammered for "lying to the NCAA", not actually doing anything wrong on its own.

It's like getting 3 years for perjury when the actual accusation would get you 6 months probation.

Wade, OTOH, is on a recording referencing directly paying for a recruit.

The two are NOT comparable.

bullshite. One was a procedural offense (lying about a minor issue) and the other is on tape talking about paying a player...which is absolutely the worst kind of NCAA infraction.

Lying, and more importantly instructing student athletes to lie, is not a procedural offense to the NCAA

Don't get all bent up, man. It's a proven fact that both coaches are cheaters, but one's discovered act seems to be more egregious than the other..that's all...

Well, it is procedural.
Doesn’t matter, Bruce did his time and is coaching a Final Four team. frick off.

...and that IS cheating, therefore the coach DOES become a known cheater...that's all.

was caught lying about a barbecue (thanks to VOLS AD Mike Hamilton for serving him up on a platter to the NCAA).

BP did this to himself. He knew he was cheating

He's facing Final 4 pressure, man. I understand. This isn't the time for flinging poo at the coach.

I'm rooting for Auburn
