This is just really odd. I see all these Texas A&M fans upset about being paired with Texas, but I have not seen a single Texas fan upset about it.

Bingo. If we both win game 1 the tex-aggie game will be a toss up. Ags are damn sure good enough to beat us.

They deserved higher than a 7...but we got screwed more than they did considering they will be our 2nd game assuming we win.

pairing Texas and A&M together was predictable.. I am however surprised the committee didn’t take a chance to pair Texas & Marquette as the 2/3 game.. yes they would have had to switch someone like Gonzaga with Marquette.. but Texas vs Shaka would have been a good story line.. assuming they would both get to that game.

That’s the problem. AM finished second in the league. TN finished 5th or 6th in the league. Why even play in a conference? What’s the point? Just open up all teams to the free market and let them make their own schedule based on NET. Vandy was tied for 4th in the league and didn’t make the tournament. Seems like college basketball is going the way of NBA only watching playoffs.
