Everyone talks about 2016, but 2015 was probably their biggest blown opportunity since Manning was there and losing to Florida every year.
That team was about 5-6 plays away from being undefeated. In 3/4 losses they had the opponent dead to rights in the 4th quarter. They should have been 11-1 at worst.

2015 team was much deeper and more sound defensively. A few injuries and absolutely miserable coaching in close games late. A team with a fan coaching in the 4th quarter of the Oklahoma and Florida games likely makes the CFP.

The Oline was rough for a couple years. And a bunch left under Pruitt. It’s likely going to be another cycle before it recovers.

That 2015 Arkansas-Tennessee game was a matchup between two teams that were fantastic at trying to lose games late.
Unfortuantely for Tennessee, Tennessee was just better at it that night. Arkansas tried to give it away, but we lacked that real suicidal instinct that the Vols had to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.
