They've won a natty and gotten to another one. Lets be real, they aren't Auburn.

You probably think UT people are still running the show up there.
VN? I have made one post there in 10 years. A memorial post to HatVol. You seem familiar with the place.

Fulmer in the 90s?
BCS Fulmer is likely in 4-5 CFP and wins atleast 2. The only team he couldn’t play with was Florida.

Spurrier used to beat Phil before Saturday rolled around. He was in Fulmer's head in a bad way.

The only ones I'm seeing are 1995 and 1997, and no one was beating Nebraska either year

It’s pretty damn hard to repeat, but our program is in great hands for another championship.

2020’s - current decade
2010’s - 1 decade ago, not 2.
2000’s - 2 decades ago
1990’s - 3 decades ago
I’m all for trolling Tennessee, but 4 decades is a ridiculous take. You should have stuck to the not in modern football argument. Or not this century, before the playoffs, before the iPhone, before any recruits were born, etc. There are a lot of options to take without having to make Irons Puppets level leaps in logic.

How many national champions are there?
ONE!
CFB is not a horse race. You don't have win, place, show.
You either win the trophy, or you are an also-ran.

You say this like taking the field is a hot take. It’s not. If I had to wager, I’d wager on us not winning the title this year. A lot of youth on this team, especially on defense, which is the cornerstone of Kirby’s system.
A team hasn’t repeated as champions in a decade and it’s only happened once since the turn of the 2000’s.

UGA was an "also-ran" for 41 years.
Lol. If Georgia has been an also-ran for the last 41 years, then what the frick has Tennessee been since 1999? Pool scum? Georgia ranks in the top 4 in major college football in wins since 2000. If your only qualification for not being an also-ran is winning a championship, then I guess Alabama was an also-ran last year, huh? They’ve actually been an also-ran for the majority of Saban’s season.
Why is your fanbase so fricking retarded?

This must mean there are many tiers for an also ran. Vols must be way down the list.

Tennessee has been an also-ran since we won in 1998. That is just the cold hard facts.
CFB has one champion. You're either it or you're not.
Enjoy your "it" year.
Y'all will be back to being the Almost Champions again in January.

No shite. It really takes some straw grabbing to have an Alabama fan sticking up for Tennessee. We have provided them with so much shite talking with our embarrassing last 20 years and he has to try to make 24 years sound like 40. By his math lsu hasn't won a national championship in 2 decades and they really won 3 in that time frame.

2015 we tore your arse up. I see you mention the Chubb’s injury. But you forgot about the dirty arse play that ended Shy Tuttle season from your leg hummers. Tuttle was our starter and y’all took him out with dirty play. So excuse me if Chubbs getting hurt don’t bother me.

Arkansas began the season ranked 18 in one poll and 20 in another. It began to crumble when Arkansas lost to Toledo 16-12. Arkansas had over 500 yards of total offense but could only score 10 points. The Texas Tech game was tied 21 in the second quarter but failed to score a TD in the third and fourth quarters, 35-24 final. Arkansas led 14-13 in the A&M game but they tied it up in the fourth quarter and Arkansas lost 28-21. Arkansas was 1-3 and Bert was catching hell, QB Brandon Allen was playing scared both overthrowing and underthrowing his passes. It was bad to the point that someone on one of news stations suggested that Allen be replaced.
Arkansas was behind 10-7 against Bama but they scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and won 27-14. The final loss was a 50-51 loss to state and instead of going for it on fourth and short, Bert decided to kick a FG with a unreliable kicker and thus as predicted was blocked. That game was such a waste because Brandon Allen had seven TDs and it cost Arkansas a trip to the Sugar Bowl and Ole Miss slide into second place in the West.
Both teams were undercoached. I don't know about Tennessee but this roster was pretty good for Arkansas.
Players drafted from that team and including players that were undrafted that made NFL rosters or practice squads.
TE Hunter Henry first round. Starter.
OL Frank Ragnow first round. Starter.
DL Deatrich Wise Jr. fourth round. Starter.
G Hjalte Froholdt fourth round. Active roster.
DE Jeremiah Ledbetter sixth round. Injured reserve.
DE Armon Watts sixth round. Active roster.
QB Brandon Allen sixth round. Active roster.
LB Dre Greenlaw fifth round. Starter.
RB Alex Collins fifth round. Active roster.
RB Jonathan Williams fifth round. Active roster.
OL Sebastian Tretola sixth round.
TE Jeremy Sprinkle fifth round. Active roster.
WR Keon Hatche undrafted but was on the practice squad for three years.
OL Dan Skipper was undrafted but currently active on a practice squad.
WR Cody Hollister was undrafted but currently on an active roster.
DE Mitchell Loewen was undrafted but stayed on NFL rosters for three years.
WR Drew Morgan was undrafted but led the SEC in receptions and was SEC 2nd team.

Sam Pittman was on that staff. He left after the season when he supposedly had an argument with Bert. Bert was fired two years later.
