That’s about the worst take I’ve ever seen on this board, and that is saying a lot

decade is equal to ten years.

1998 is part of the 90’s.
2005 is part of the 00’s.
2017 is part of the 10’s.
2021 is part of the 20’s.

4 different decades accounted for.

You’re either trolling or you have a few screws loose because no normal person actually thinks that way

That team losing by double digits to Vanderbilt when Kamara inexplicably steps out of bounds on fourth down was one of funniest things I’ve seen in a while.

Many normal people think this:

1st decade: 1990-99
2nd decade: 2000-09
3rd decade: 2010-19
4th decade: 2020-21 so far

You should have quit the thread after your terribly wrong take on uga/vols 2015

It was 47 years between your two, it’s been 23 since you even won the SEC. No one has more unfounded arrogance than Vol fans

This is bullshite. He was a terrible recruiter.
You might want to learn what the frick you're talking about before you comment.

Butch pulled in at least one top five class and some top 10s. He simply couldn't do anything with them once he got them.

Zero titles is a much more likely scenario in an alternate universe.

Atleast 2 more likely 3. But UGAs loss in the SEC title game would push them out of the BCS title, leaving 1970 jokes in play.

I know way more than you, obviously. 14 and 15 were good classes. Good classes that would have been signed by any coach at UT. Look at the non instate/legacy guys he signed. About 6 of them made an impact.

In 5 classes he hit on around 20 players that weren't instate or legacy guys. and over half of those guys were in our regular stomping grounds and not highly recruited, and none of them were instant impact guys other than Kamara and maybe Ethan Wolf.

Heupel has gone into California and got a QB that everybody wanted. Pruitt signed Darnell Wright and Henry To'oto'o out of state we haven't been active out of. Butch Jones never did that.

Fulmer in the 90s?

93 don't make the cfp
94 don't make the cfp
95 #4 seed, good luck playing #1 Nebraska in the semi
96 don't make the cfp
97 no, y'all would've been the #3 seed playing #2 Nebraska and we saw how that turned out
98 #1 seed but would've had to play Ohio St in the 1st semi, maybe
99 don't make the cfp

Florida and auburn and lsu have also underperformed during this time period, so let’s just limit this to uga and bama.

The only team in the country that has outperformed LSU in the time period he listed is Alabama. Are you stupid or something?

This take is amongst your worst takes ever….

Are you confusing 2017 Clemson with 2018 Clemson?

2017 Clemson was smashed 24-6 by a hurts led bama squad.

I didn’t watch that game closely after uga beat OU earlier in the day. Playoff football is fun, not that you would know anything about that.

After lsu got lucky as the worst ever team to win the MNC in 2007, lsu has had some serious struggle bus seasons.

Thank you for proving I was correct and you don't know your arse from a hole in the ground.

Any coach at UT could sign those classes? Apparently you weren't around for Derek fricking Doofus. You know, the guy who went in the entire recruiting class and didn't sign an offensive lineman.

Boy, I have forgotten more about UT football than you will ever know.

Which years?

You forgetting the basics of the 90’s further proves how long ago that was.

Spurrier owned the vols.

Nebraska was a monster, which also further proves how long ago that was, and how it was not modern football in the 90’s.

Again, Dooley didn't ever have a ready made class like the 14 and 15 classes. Tell me how many guys in the 16-17 classes made an impact? Those classes were around where Dooley's classes were and a lot of those guys were 4 stars with terrible offer lists. He was a bad recruiter and you only look at numbers, I guarantee I know more about this program than you

UGA was an "also-ran" for 41 years.

Enjoy the next few months. Your "also-ran" status starts again in 2022. You will not repeat.
