QB Josh Dobbs (Browns)
RB Alvin Kamara (Saints)
RB John Kelly (Browns)
FB Jakob Johnson (Raiders)
WR Jauan Jennings (49ers)
WR Marquez Callaway (Saints)
WR Josh Malone (Titans)
WR Preston Williams (Dolphins)
DE Darrell Taylor (Seahawks)
DE Derek Barnett (Eagles)
DE Jonathan Kongbo (Broncos)
DT Shy Tuttle (Saints)
DT Kahlil McKenzie (Ravens)
DT Kendal Vickers (Raiders)
LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (Texans)

Those 2016 Vols were a talented bunch. Notice that 0 Oline off that team are in the leagues today.

Yeah, I mean, he wasn’t a good coach.

Led you to 9 wins, twice, which is about a game shy of your ceiling. Your expectations are too high.

The 2016 team was good, but the 2015 team was the real waste. The weakest playoff to date, and Tennessee was leading in the 4th against 3 top 15 teams, two of them by two scores. Then we lost to Bert's Arkansas at home, in a game that so nearly got us rid of trumpet fricker before Richt decided to retire on the sidelines of Neyland the week after.

That is funny because Bert led teams until the fourth quarter and wasted talent on that 2015 team.

The fact that Butch Jones made it out of Western Michigan is a testament to how bad Dave Hart and Whit Babcock are at their jobs, and how bad Tennessee was run at the time because Babcock so very nearly became the AD here. Just frauds hiring frauds hiring frauds.

You are who your record says you are. You’ve won more than 9, 3 times in 20 years. Only 10 times in the last 50 years.

Sorry, facts are facts.

I think y'all were 2-3 going into that game but I remember people on VN kept defending Butch by telling me that y'all were much better than the record and all of your losses up to that point were close, and I just remember thinking to myself, "So if two teams who are underperforming meet and we're the one at home and we lose, wtf does that say about our coach?" Especially when we had a much deeper team.

Disagree. The right coach could have Tennessee competing for SEC and national championships.

Uh, but we've won more than 10 on multiple occasions in the last quarter century, despite being dogshit for the vast majority of that time. So it isn't our ceiling. It's a ceiling for Ole Miss, or Kentucky, or Miss St.

Sorry, your facts are opinions.

He's trying to troll the OP, but he's just making himself look like an idiot.

2015 and 2016 were good seasons for the vols, so be thankful they happened.

Yeah you're missing 1997 and 1998 when we won 11 and 13, won the SEC twice and a natty. Nobody is arguing that we haven't sucked this century. But even then that proves my point that 10 wins isn't the ceiling for this program.
