The Big 12 should have been aggressive in pursuing Louisville, BYU, Cincinnati years ago but lack of foresight with 10 teams really bit them.
Not having a championship game screwed TCU and Baylor out of the playoff in 2014.

Big 12 expansion was out of Bowlsby's hands. It was the arrogance of Texas that said those teams you mentioned are beneath us and not worthy. Texas nearly single handley destroyed the Big 12 starting with the refusal to share revenue from the now failed Long Horn Network. How much better would the conference be (and Texas) if those arrogant asses had just played fair. But they're too much better than everyone else and this was the final demise of the Big 12. The "new" Big 12 will look more like the American / CUSA than the "old" Big 12.
Thanks Texas. F#*K you. You don't deserve to be in the SEC. Like a swarm of locusts, you'll ultimately destroy that too.

OMG … Four years of O being the public face of the program, title IX issues widely reported in national sports press still unresolved, and whatever you think of Wade.. he is known nation wide as the coach on the FBI tape.
Not to mention ex-coaches exposed as coed stalkers, HC with half naked selfies on internet, fans chanting STTDB on national television and proud of it…dumb azz things like the band stunt in Florida, etc…
I live here…and it has been embarrassing the last decade of so. Hopefully the adults can begin to restore LSU and Louisiana image nationwide. But what that fool said is what is widely believed.

I think for damn sure, no doubt about it. That quarterback at the center of every game plan is a nonstarter in the SEC meat grinder. SEC defenses would wear that O out, and the defense would be on the field most of the day.
Of course I'm saying that as a joe blow out here, acting like I'm a coach and know it all. Looks good on paper at least.
