Don't know what a crowd pop is but I was intrigued by a stat that flashed up just after the Landry TD saying that was Mett's 8th TD pass of the year. In 4Q of game 9. I thought it must have meant the 8th TD pass to Landry but then I looked it up and saw Mett's season totals were 12 TD's / 7 INT's.

I had (thankfully) forgotten exactly how bad QB play was under Miles with a few exceptions. Wish I could have visited this board from the future and told them that 7 years later an Ohio State transfer would throw for 60 / 6 just to see the reactions!

Note: I'm not bashing Mett in this thread and realize this was his first year as a starter and the 2nd half of the Bama game was his awakening. Just reflecting that these type of numbers were our expectation under Les.

Dinardo got the rule changed to say the home team CAN wear white but it required the visiting team to agree. This was the reason for the White Out Vandy in 96 when they refused permission.

Sometime between then and now, the SEC dropped the requirement for the visiting team to agree. Now it’s 100% home team choice.

I said it last night and will repeat it here. I don't recall an LSU D-lineman being this dominant as a true freshman since Booger in 1995.

Yes, Marquise Hill and Dorsey were very good freshmen but not this dominant.
