Pretty clear you arent going to give LSU/Ed O any credit for anything ever, but hey just won a NC, so there's that

Kevin Steele absolutely sucked as a HC (9-36, 1-16 at Baylor) but he’s been pretty damn solid as a DC. With the talent Pelini will have at LSU I suspect he’ll do alright. We’ll see.

I actually really like LSU. Would say my second favorite SEC school. Just hate seeing overpaying when not needed. And correcting a post someone made about Orgeron. I'm not an Orgeron fan. So I guess you are close to being right that I'm not willing to give Orgeron credit for something he didn't do just because he is the HC at LSU.

So now maybe we only beat Arky by 4 or 5 touchdowns?

Calm down son. You beat us by 7 in Chad Morris' first year... with Burrow.

7!

it is estimated the LSU received $200 million in free advertising from this football season. Please explain how paying a coaching staff 10-20% of that is "overpaying".

Is Google accurate in saying Pelini was only making $230k at Youngstown?

LSU couldn't throw $1.5 million out there? There wasn't a high demand for Pelini.

Do any of y’all ever post this LSU-centric stuff on the Tiger Rant?
The whole, “Look at us” LSU vibe is becoming kinda incessant.

He was making $230k from Youngstown + $1.5 million from Nebraska simultaneously from what I've read.

SEC folks here are quick to post threads about any negative news regarding LSU on this board, we just fill in the gaps (the good news)

Honestly, I have no clue what you mean here. If A&M hired a new coordinator it wouldn't be SEC news? I didn't give an opinion either way or try to say it made LSU any better than anyone else. Also, people have been creating threads here about LSU not being able to hire coaches so again I'm not really sure what you're getting at.

This is a home run hire for LSU. I remember those Pelini defenses. They were talented and very aggressive. Dorsey was an absolute MONSTER up the middle. Match that defense up with LSU's new offensive scheme, LSU will be in the hunt baby.

His Youngstown salary was deducted from his buyout.

Be careful. Just days ago your fellow LSU fans on the Coaching Change Board were talking about stealing him from Bama while talking shite about Pelini. But I'm sure those post are all being deleted as we speak.

Exactly. You just gave the man a 1.7mil a year raise. Probably could have had him for half of what you paid.
