Agreed, best at throwing incomplete passes.

Meh, he completed 59% of his passes for 12 touchdowns and 7 picks last year.

Our offense is trash. I agree that Bo is not living up to his elite billing, as he's not shown he can really rise above his circumstances. But I don't think he's any significant part of what has held back Auburn's production.

Does his baby still hate him or has the mom finally relented and let Bo have supervised visits?

I hope he does well. He has had to rely on an offensive line that has not performed well in recent years. He has done as well as he has by relying on talent, instinct, and athleticism. I was at Auburn when his Dad was quarterback.

HarsiningHard - are you related to Nix? Are you Bo Nix?

You can tell if a guy has what it takes or he doesn't pretty quickly. Bo has had two years to add something special to the teams success and he hasn't done it. He still looks and acts like an above average high school QB pulling it down and running when he should stay in the pocket and process his reads. I'm not a coach but if I were I would judge Bo Nix as one of Auburns weaknesses to exploit.

Bo Nix is an electrifying quarterback that can beat you with his arm and legs. Bo Nix is ultra quick in the pocket and virtually impossible to stop in a one on one situation. Bo Nix is the type of quarterback that can put so much pressure on a defense because of his ability to make a play outside of the pocket. Bo Nix is also a good passer that shows all the throws. Bo Nix is a "Michael Vick" type of signal caller and very exciting to watch.

He is for at least one half anyway...but the other half of the game is another story.

A lot of prognosticators are quick to jump to worst-case scenarios with the Barn. How convenient. Finebaum was running down the schedule and quickly gave the barners losses to Penn State and LSU. I'm not buying that. What did the Nittany Lions look like last season? Franklin just had one of those seasons that if repeated he gets canned. LSU was a wreck and had zero defense. A team the barners blew out 10 ways from Sunday last season. Folks need to hold their water on this team. They weren't nearly as bad as the 2 teams some folks have them automatically losing to this year. Lazy journalism, lazy takes, or just wishful thinking.
