Well I asked for arguments. I’m admittedly ignorant to most other qb situations within the league. I assume Bo has the most experience.

You’ve got some bad intel brother.

Finley will not sniff the starting job this year, save for an injury.

Yes. He would've been like 4th string going into 2021.

Myles Brennan threw 11 touchdowns in just 3 games last season while Bo Nix threw just 12 in 11 games.

That's clear.

That's irrelevant.

Off the top of my head, Corral and JT Daniels, plus whoever Bama puts on the field... they have developed a pattern of putting badass QB's on the field over the last several years. They've earned the benefit of the doubt at this point.

Corral and Daniels are less than stellar.

Bama’s qbs benefit from them having better players than every team they play. Never been overly impressed.

He's in danger of possibly losing his job to a kid who wasn't even the backup at LSU.

Does a new coach mean Bo Nix will take care of his bastard child this year? After all the family (Auburn) frowns on slackers.

This is a troll post but the reality is that it's not particularly unrealistic to think Bo ends up viewed as one of the top 3 or so QBs in the league this year.

I'm not a huge Bo Nix believer, but if the offense is more coherent and productive he'll rise to that and the perceptions of him will shift quite a lot. He's got experience and a fairly strong skillset.

You do realize people are talking about QBs in the SEC for this fall?

I will be neutral on Daniels because I am a Georgia fan but this dude at Ole Miss is pretty doggone good, in case you have not noticed.

Didn't say he would, just that he possibly could

In the same way any "open competition" in camp (wink wink) provides that possibility, sure

If the LSU kid knocks out Bo Nix in said competition, I would probably be pretty excited. Bo isn't great but he's a solid starter most anywhere. Someone who comes in and passes an Auburn legacy QB would be pretty intriguing.

Meh, he completed 59% of his passes for 12 touchdowns and 7 picks last year.
